Right place at the right time! Good footage bro, always nice when you know some of the men! Take care and keep up the good work!
Good job getting there and catching this in it's early stages. Great video.
I really like your videos about firefighters interventions.Thank your for sharing
Awesome footage! “Go, go, go!” Love the air horn usages!
Another 100% AWESOME JOB F.D.N.Y!
As usual JJ, Great Vid. Brother! Keep em' comin' big dog!
Great Job videos of what FDNY Does everyday and saving lives and putting out Fires Great Job Johnny too bad you can't go in
Amazing to me how those fire truck drivers can get those trucks in and out of all the traffic👍👍🚒🚒🚒
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 To be honest with you Lenny, it is not that difficult. If you have a good Technician, he becomes the apparatus he is driving and knows it like the back of his hand.
If you've driven in NYC you know to get out the way of a fire truck even if it's not an emergency, otherwise they will come close to your car and make you JUMP or PEE in your seat by blowing that HORN all New Yorkers fear.
dnt get me wrong i do love it.i am a ff i lost 3 of my brothers last week in a fire.u are doing amazing job with all the footage.
What a classic location. Right down the street from the Flat Iron Building and right next to the Gay District. I thought that buildings in and near Midtown Manhattan have to have their own water towers on their roof and I wonder if that was the main water supply that they used although they would have used the Stand Pipe as a back up. Just a thought. Great video!!!! Thanks!!!!
As an IRL firmen I Appreciate the god bless to firefighters everywhere a lot
I hope you have ear plugs in when the Q, and the air horns start blasting. Great capture.
Super video as always. One correction.. this is the Flatiron District not Chelsea. Chelsea is West of 6th Avenue.
My question is how the heck are you able to be on the scene this fast. I know you have a radio but it's not like you can teleport with it.
WELL, IN THIS CASE I WAS IN THE AREA AND RAN THERE! THANKS SO MUCH! ;o)
tower ladder 12 was like: MOVE GODAMNIT! I GOT PLACES TO GO!
All the respect in the world for these guys. Couldn't work up there. I'd be up on charges for punching a cabbie for not yielding.
What a great sound the horn and siren echoing off the building's. When I was there the trucks had a "bass" or vibration sound they would admit also. Do the still have that? It shook the street even before you seen them .
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 a low frequency deep sound. It shook the streets a little. It made you look. I was there directly after hurricane sandy and FDNY was everywhere and that's where I heard it. I dont know sounds the a weeeeooooo weeeeeoooo but low and deep. Maybe I'm crazy.
OH, IT IS CALLED THE "RUMBLER SIREN" AND ONLY SOME FDNY BATTALION CHIEFS AND AMBULANCES HAVE THAT SIREN RIGHT NOW! MOST POLICE CARS HAVE HAD THEM FOR YEARS. THANKS..... ;o)
I`ve read in a newspaper these days that all emergency services in NYC will get new sirens, like ours in Europe... whyyyyyyyy ??? how stupid are some politicians over there??? There where several complains about US sirens, the newspaper wrote! noise polution is toooooo high for New York population !!! with new "not so aggressive" sirens the car drivers will not get out of the way, especially taxi drivers, pedestrians, bicycle drivers and other well known morons :-( !!!!
YES, IT IS BEING TALKED ABOUT! I HOPE IT DOES NOT HAPPEN AT ALL. THX.
Give video you need to do one for military firefighters we serve our country not just our community remember the military motto duty honor country that something most civilian firefighters had no idea about!!!;;
I WISH I KNEW WHERE TO AND HOW TO. NO MILITARY INSTALLATIONS NEAR ME THO. THANKS SO MUCH! ;o)
Fire fighters are pretty cool. I wished i took that profession but too old now. Im 34. Old man now.
Omg it’s you you’re not making videos that much anymore hope you are doing well and ok anyway nice video as always
You need a portable scanner so you can hear everything that's going on you get there really good I'm fast sometimes if you really with it for portable scanner
I HAD ONE BUT IT BROKE SO I NEED TO GET ANOTHER ONE SOON. THANKS SO MUCH! ;o)
Aquí en República Dominicana si pasa un incendio sólo aparece un sólo bombero
WoW I thought there would be stanpipe racks on this high rise working fire.
Anybody else notice the guy trying to pull a dolly over the charged line?😂
Yeah I was thinking there's always one person that thinks their in a hurry and that the fire department needs to move their stuff for them to get through.
Why don’t you edit your video description to say “High Rise” instead of “High Ride”
BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A TYPO IN THERE! IS THAT WHAT YOU FOUND MOST INTERESTING ABOUT THE DAMN VIDEOOOO???????????????????????????????????
holy shit ,when there is a fire in new york city,oh boy u know there is a fire.10 blocks full of engines.
Better to have too many resources on scene and not need them than not enough and loose control of the fire waiting for more
I used to manage a building in Queens back in the 80’s...we had a working fire that was relatively small. After the fire was controlled, I walked past the door and peaked out into the street and was totally shocked...it was a sea of equipment as far as I could see.
Building Has A Standpipe System ' Great Vid ' People Shouldn't be Sitting on it ' Especially During this Fire " No Fire Panel?
Did you see the "guests" of this "hotel" outside? This is a ghetto hotel, a welfare hotel, temporary city housing; if you look at the clientele, I highly doubt they care that they're in the way or sitting on important things, ghetto people with lots of kids and more on their way, ugh 😡🤢😡
Why do they need so many fire trucks if they have it under control ?
WELL, THEY NEEDED THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE RESPONDING TO A FIRE IN A LARGE BUILDING WITH MANY TENANTS AND IS THEIR NORMAL PROTOCOL.....
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 oh I see that makes sense , keep up the good work filming the NYFD I love watching them at work !! 😃🖐👍
You take some very good videos but why not focus in on FDNY/ EMS ever now and then. They always have been the unrecognized members of FDNY.
millions of firerfighters and vehicles, but no fire , i cant understand!!! whats wrong here?
do the NYC cabbies give a rats ass whether the fire dept. running reds and siren have the right of way?
You Have Steady Hands. Gimble?
Dang. Keep them coming. I also like how you are up in the action. When I watch your Videos I feel like I am there and part of the action. Keep shooting Brother.
Awesome video. FDNY In all its glory. Those trucks are awsome. From a brit that fell in love with New York years ago.
THANKS SO MUCH BARRY! ;o)
