The 12MP is the default on both the Pixel and the S23. That's the one that utilises the full binning mode. The 50MP on both phones is worse in low light and also has inferior image processing. We do compare the 200MP vs 50MP in the video too, if you're curious to see the results.
Sony's cameras in the pixel aren't bad but I prefer the Samsung's. Has a nice screen though do to the Samsung display if their software brightness holds out over time.. Processor built on Samsung's 4nm tech is ok for AI .

@@rinkashi101 it means its default camera shots are the worst in business right now (among premium smartphones)
FACTS 👏💯
Samsung has 200 megapixels, and it claims that details are missing because it's using a cropped photo at 12 megapixels. Does he think we are fools?
Can you disable Samsung‘s oversharpening? It look‘s sooo bad, what happened to the tree here 8:10 😭
I am surprised how samsung did oversharpening with noise reduction but i am not a fan of this oversharpening
A mix between the pixel 8 pro and the s23 ultra camera would undoubtedly look better than the iPhone 15 pro max camera
Good one I like the camera comparison
Nice video.
I have to say, I'm a bit dissapointed. Yeah it improved from the 7, but it lacks in so many departments. And it's not really that much cheaper than the samsung.
Giving away iPhones while comparing 2 android devices. Makes total sense 👍
Why do you guys use samsung's 12MP camera setting? You have a 50MP option also available and it is really amazing!
The 12MP is the default on both the Pixel and the S23. That's the one that utilises the full binning mode. The 50MP on both phones is worse in low light and also has inferior image processing. We do compare the 200MP vs 50MP in the video too, if you're curious to see the results.
@@ZONEofTECH yes I do agree with you in case of low light :)
I like your comparison videos by the way! 😄
Great work keep growing🍻
Sony's cameras in the pixel aren't bad but I prefer the Samsung's. Has a nice screen though do to the Samsung display if their software brightness holds out over time.. Processor built on Samsung's 4nm tech is ok for AI .
i like your voice on Galaxy S23 Ultra
hello Daniel, how are you doing? your videos are well edited and are useful I have a question what should I get iPad Pro 13 inch or s9 ultra for my studies ? lets gooo road to 2 million subs
Get what fits in your ecosystem although the s9 ultra is a productivity beast
With all due respect, these photos are taken on just auto mode, you adjust the settings on the pro mode you can get obviously good photos
▪︎▪︎▪︎ Overall SAMSUNG is better 🎉
Não adianta ,pros americanos os smartphones dos EUA sempre serão melhores, mesmo que não sejam.
I don't agree with you. The Google shows the hair pictures with more details. Not the Samsung
What does it change ?
99.9% of people do not make pictures of important things for a museum !
This is nitpicking !
do you really want to consider S23 Ultra knowing that S24 is coming in the next couple of weeks (Jan 17)
Is there no comparison between those 2 with camera modes? like authentic mode etc. Maybe that solves the problem with the colors on the s23
Also the processioning via google servers is a 🚩
Samsung S23 Ultra is not just For camera gimics ...It's a beast in performance..
Unfortunately it's not. The camera performance of S23U is the worse now
I don’t know what Samsung did this time. Hope they fix it in a software update
Menteur!!@@gigamoment
@gigamoment Maybe but in overall performance and gaming truely android king..
When doing android vs android camera comparison, suddenly the oversharpening is important. On iPhone 15PM vs S23u, the blatant oversharpening of S23u was set aside.
This guy looks like Mason Mount's brother
To be honest with you it dosent matter what phone wins or not both phones have amazing cameras one which uses a lot of ai and another uses camera sensor honestly samsung did a fantastic job on the portrait and the night photos which google cant the pixels cameras are great tho but some of the samples are not equidistant compared to the galaxy s23 ultra or the iphone 15 pro max overall ill pick the galaxy anyday anywhere just for the reliability with no ai gimmicks
Did pixels night mode became worse over the year? Cause this is bad compared to the current pixel im using..
He dosnt used the nightmode
Samsung was a pleasant surprise; it can compete with heavy artillery.
Extremely helpful!
I just had a Pixel 8 Pro 256GB delivered to my house. After seeing and reading many reviews and then discovering that Google blocked the Pixel from being able to install Geek Bench from the Play Store it's on it's way back to Google too. I'll shop it again on Black Friday if there's a post pre-order significant discount. $1000.00 is way too much for this phone and I don't need a new watch.
YOo do know that Geekbench is being blocked only on pre-release software right? You should get a stable software version these days which will allow you to do anything.
thank you for the video ! But I have to say you have to review your appreciative criteria cause many times you are missing the point.
awesome review thanks
Did you prefer the ultra wide portrait video on Samsung or Google? 🤔🤔🤔 Use camera assistant, you can turn off auto lens selection
Samsung s23 ultra camera very good
@jeisupa in your dreams
@@edu_6312Google's processing in photos evidently beats Samsung overall though
Wrong! S23U is the best.
SIMPLY THE BEST!!@@vtortegz
the only thing i hate about samsung is how oversharpen the image on 12mp
I'm asking you, which one is you like most?
overall? I think I'm leaning more towards the Pixel tbh. Although - I am a big fan of what Samsung's been doing over the past few years too. Superb camera experience and incredible performance, battery life and OS features.
@ZONEofTECH so what do you think I try this pixel or wait for the s24 ultra
@@ZONEofTECHdid you say 15 megapixel at the beginning?
@@eliasvaldes4596The S24 Ultra will be powered by Snapdragon 8Gen 3. This will be TWO leagues above the modified Exynos S2300 in the Pixel 8 Pro. BIG big difference. Rubbish to anyone who says there won't be. You may get the Pixel at a discount by the time the 24U is out though.
@@neilmcguinness4422you wish 😂 s24 line up comes with Exynos
Can u make a video “Should you upgrade your MacBook?” Like start from the 2010 or 2015 MacBook, thank you 😊
8 pro or 23ultra ?
S23u better in night mode (more details)
So, "I do prefer Pixels ultra wide video here" or "I do prefer Samsungs ultra wide video here"? 😂
9:20 wait what? You prefer which one then??
I caught that too lol
I will choose google pixel 8 pro 😊
I have the 8 Pro. One big flaw to me (also applicable to the non pro). The magic editor function they are bragging about doesn't work if your 'photo backup function' is not on. So in the end, if you want to use it, you need again another subscription with some online service where you can't get rid of.
Fyi, after some testing, when a photo isn't uploaded yet, the function doesn't work, if you don't have an Internet connection, the function doesn't work. Meaning it's not your phone who is doing the AI calculation, but the server @google
Otherwise fantastic phone.
I want more videos filmed at 2160p 60 hdr
Why would people want to push their videos on google's servers?
This american youtuber will always take side of there company. He knows very well how Better S23 ultra is!! But Americans don't take side of a Asian giant company.
You are comparing the photos without telling wich camera you are using. Like, the main 12 magapixel on s23, maybe it is oversharpened, but if you use the 50 or 200 mp its much more naturaly sharp than the pixel.
Watch and listen again and you will know what he is using.
No information about MPX of the pictures... Lame
12MP on both by default.
@@ZONEofTECH Is the processing the same with the 50Mpx mode? With Samsung there's no more HDR for instance with 200Mpx.
@@DoKaTS on 50mp mode, HDR is worse.
Team pixel ❤❤❤
Samsung Galaxy S-23 Ultra👑📱📱📱🎬👍😁
hi, quick question. for me they are both really good phones, but i prefere the battery life. i know the pixel is still new but do anyone think the battery will be par with the s23 ultra? and do the s23 ultra really have that good batery life as i have heard?
Did this man just said the pixel had a blown out sky and the Samsung had better depth of field? That is a totally reverse sentence.
Daniel, you didn't do a first impression of this Pixel 8/Pro and just went into camera text with the iphone and Samsung. Thid is different coming from you 😅
Indeed! Just focusing on what people what to see the most :)
@@ZONEofTECH ok I get it. That's good 👍
