Sure, Talion lost everyone he loved in the first game and Celebrimbor was little more than a ghost trying to get a feel for the world, but I could have done with more companioned moments. Things that would make their characters shine. The reason many liked Ratbag, aside from his humor, was that he did bring out some character from the two, even if it was just for a few short moments. It made them refreshing and connective to us as players. Still, I am pleased the studio is diving further into showing us more of who Talion and Celebrimbor are as individuals.
If I'm being honest I love the characters of Talion and Celebrimbor, and was saddened when they weren't explored in depth in SoM. They're essentially war criminals, since Elves usually prefer more humane ways of dealing with Orcs rather then outright genociding them on each other. You have a Ranger crazed for vengeance since his family was murdered, and an Elf Ghost who wants to uproot Sauron and rule Mordor.
Talion still has that annoying voice though. It's purely subjective opinion on my part but already in first game I disliked this voice acting (another thing I think they should hire better writer for dialogues, and I guess Amy Hennig would do good hehe, she worked on Legacy of Kain series and the manner of language style in that game series really struck me as Tolkienesque/Shakespearean :) ).
Ah, the unmistakable voice of one Laura Bailey. I have no doubt this one will be a love interest for Tallion. Troy Baker's and Laura Bailey's characters always seem to have a thing for each other. Oh, and let's not forget that Eltariel literally has the voice of Tallion's dead wife. Yup, same voice actress.
I thoroughly enjoy the fact that she was gutsy enough to kill him just to see if he can live again. Lol, she reminds me of Thranduil, seems like something he would do.
Honestly I'd rather play as her hunting Nazghul. Sounds more interesting than killing orcs again not that that's not fun or anything though playing as someone new would help to expand the universe. Middle Earth is HUGE. Why not take advantage of exploring another part of that world?

She's a thousand year old champion of the elves. Talion is a dude that gets his ass handed to him by Orcs and dies ALL THE TIME. As we've seen again and again, without Celebrimbor, Talion wouldn't have gotten anywhere near as far as he has.

If you kill every uruk before leaving, ratbag is your nemesis, so he can survive the hammer, Also it is confirmed that the boss battle happens when talion is dying and before you land your final hit ratbag comes in and kills sauron, saving middle earth

However, what can be discussed is what we've seen here and it doesn't leave a good impression (for me atleast). She seems like a very typical "strong female character" cliche that has to have a snappy and bitter personality. Which, to be honest, seems like a lazy character trait.
