that's actually me lmao, I just got into bladee cause I found out about him after some dude stopped watching youtube shorts because of that one line in "ONLY GOD IS MADE PERFECT"
F1LTHY has actually worked with Bladee yeaaars ago before all the Carti stuff. Check out the project WOD by bladee. Cold visions is kinda an accumulation of all of his growth since then while getting back to how it used to sound grittier
Bladee had a tape with f1lthy and working on dying in 2017. They've made an album in an underground subgenre of trap Tread which would then becom "rage music". Its an simplification but im just letting you know that bladee had a huge impact on music in general. Nice reaction!
@@MIS3RY. Tread turned into rage. Tread drums influenced the whole dark stuff of rage and hyperpop wasnt even a influence to rage. Major Rage influences are Edm,tread,Future bass, Punk, Metal, and Dark trap(Sgp,Rvider klvn etc...)
Just a thought for the discussion around 35:00 - my personal take is that Cold Visions (on top of the more obvious mental health stuff) is that it refers to creative vision, gone cold. In other words, I think Bladee doesn’t know where to go next. It might be less obvious to yall bc this album is so referential to the rest of his discography but it really does feel like a send-off, or at the very least, he’s expressing doubt about his future and where to take his art. Hence, “cold vision.”
exactly, especially the thank you for listening ending etc definitely feels like it could be the last project. i hope not due to him referring him coming back too though
Glad y'all enjoyed it! Bladee, Drain Gang, and Sad Boys (Lean) Defined their own style before any rapper did (since 2013). THIS IS WHERE THEY SATTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Great review. Was really hoping this album would do this to people who don't know Bladee. You'll have a good time going through his discography now (Icedancer, WOD, The Fool in particular)
being able to like bladee on a first listen means you have such an open mind to the possibilities of music. love that from you guys. took me at least 5 listens of the same song to start thinking it was okay
@@valbarns easily one of the best cold vision reactions/reviews out. listen to the fool, icedancer or wodg next they're the closest ones sonically to cold visions
More Bladee! Haha, glad you guys enjoyed it so much, would be cool to hear your thoughts getting deeper into his discography. If you want more fun/rap heavy I'd suggest Icedancer. If you want more angelic/singing style I'd suggest 333. If you want heavy and darker/sad style I'd suggest Eversince. He can do it all haha, but yeah great reaction guys.

Appreciate that it's edited and timestamped. There's some positives to uploading the whole reaction, but definitely my respect for putting in the effort.
You guys had me smiling and laughing this whole video with your reactions. I’m super happy you guys liked it. Bladee is my favorite artist and this project was super special to me, and I’d definitely be psyched to see you guys react to his other stuff too
“GTB in the hellcat bumping “From First To Last” that’s Skrilex old emo/scene band from wayyyyyyyyyy back he would sing in, go check a video, you’ll be shocked
Bladee's been my top artist for 6 years going on in November and I'm so happy people are enjoying him from the get go most hate it then like it LMAO ❤️ (I liked him from the start when i first heard red light)
I love how you guys care about his lyrics and see them as deep because that's really what stands out in his modern albums imo. I think some of his older stuff goes harder production wise but albums like 333 and the fool have such amazing lyrics that they leave a strong impact. Really glad to see people immediately liking and appreciating what he does.
Bladee was one of the first “big” artists f1lthy and WOD worked with back in the day. He even has an album titled working on dying from 2017. Cool to see them coming back together
yung sherman is one of bladees and leans oldest producers alongside gud and whitearmor (two other goats, whitearmor slaughters every beat). and if youre into filthy and WOD, Working on dying and icedancer are two amazing albums in his 'evil' era haha
Welcome to Bladee rabbit hole! One of the most creative and talented artist of our generation, dropping only bangers since 2013. If you like the lyrics and message on Don't Do Drugz, you will love The Fool album, it's basically this song but 10x better, with beats from the same producer Lusi, absolutely beautiful sounds and life-changing lyricism - this shit really helped me get through depression in 2021, still one of my favorite albums of all time. Also, the way you described lyrics for Lucky Luke is Bladee lyricism in a nutshell, simply but genius.
I love looking for people reacting to one of my favorite artists ever, really liked the video and hope you guys look more into blade's discography, i recommend The fool, icedancer and trash island (that is a whole drain gang album, with all their members: Bladee, thaiboy and ecco2k!!) 💜🫂
welcome to the drain, bladee has such a deep and incredible discography. he does miss sometimes but his highs are the best in rap imo. one thing i'd recommend is watching the music videos when you can, his visual aesthetic is not only insane and unique (since 2014) but it has influenced a ton of what you see in rap. If you ever see something and say "wow that looks like..." it was bladee that did it first. He's an enigmatic and talented guy, happy to see you enjoyed
Love all the producers on this album, personally a huge fan of Whitearmor and I would HIGHLY recommend Wedding Bells and Frutta E Verdurra. it's got angelic production nice humming churhc bells. It's a whole vibe. if you got the time his Music for Weddings album is also a nice listen. It's really nice to see others enjoy something this special.

I honestly commend you for not only blindly diving into Bladee open-mindedly, but just being honest with your reactions. Bladee is who originally put me on to WOD as a collective (I wasn’t heavy into Black Kray at the time) but he’s easily one of my favorite musicians of all time. Great reaction, hope this sends y’all down the drain pipeline.
welcome to drain gang, there is a whole discography waiting for you and I'm jealous. I suggest ICEDANCER album, WOD album, Eversince, The Fool. Some singles I suggest are TL;DR, Buildings, It suxx, Frostythesnowman, Western Union, Red Velvet. Bladee collabs I also suggest Blue Ft Sickboirari, Snowmen w Xavierwulf, and FAMOUS!
