in the USA some people have DIED by using microwave transformers to burn wood for art, as shown in this video. Must use caution! Never do it alone! You can die from the arc even contacting it less than one second, even from touching the iron core where you don't see the arc!

Of course this is very dangerous.. look what happens when he placed it in the window 1:15 ... the light flashes. so this electric arc goes from windows to wall and from wall to pipe and from pipe to wires and damaged the circuit. because it is high voltage there is a possibility that it will go through the neighbor's tap. and if the neighbors grab that faucet at the same time it will shock him .. maybe kill him.
@@dimethylcadmium3477 they use TT ground system so it will sock. they use 4 transformers 2 in paraller 2 in series. this is near to 4kVolt up to 5 Amper. is TOO much and can instantly kills you. Also if the use 4 transforemr in series it means 2kVolt x 4 transforemrs near to 8kVolt.. this is insane hight with big amount of ampere..

Scary. Basically testing the resistance to grounded objects (pipe behind tile wall, sea and beach sand, moisture in wood floor, etc). Extremely dangerous fire and shock hazard. It's interesting seeing the classic "orange" glow from the arc in seawater due to sodium.
