I kind of hope Rob Simonsen quotes some of the Leitmotifs from Ghostbusters 2 as well. Especially the super heroic theme that plays when the Ghostbusters bust the Scoleri Brothers in the courtroom, try (and fail) to remove the slime from outside of the museum, use the Statue of Liberty to break through the roof of the museum and push Vigo back into the painting during their final showdown.
Now this feels like The Ghost of Bluto!!!!! (Ironic that Slimer was conceived as 'The Ghost of John Belushi' by Ackroyd.) What a lovely continuation of the Bernstein feel. Absolutely spot on.
@@treyhuey1871 he is probably like another type of Slimer class ghost which is cool because you had Slimer being the first then comes Muncher and from what I heard there might be a whole new series of Ghostbusters coming after this movie so the Slimer type ghost are probably the typical ghost. Where each one has a unique characteristic but are similar in shape like Slimer a disgusting blob.

But, sadly, since everyone’s feels obligated to “hate” anything associated with Ghostbusters 2, I doubt that will happen.

Very Elmer Bernstein. It's exactly how he would have made the theme.
