@@damonaniton Palo Alto Networks certs, Only 2yrs validity and not too many good exam options. Cisco certs has 3yrs validity and many exam options. If you acquire CCNP, your CCNA would be recertifed automatically. Big difference.
@StyxShow so is Cisco. Every exam has a shelf life so this is a mute point. And rarely does anyone ask if it is still valid. Unless it is a contract or job that requires a valid cert.
Back then in 2012, we replaced our dcs switch from nexus to Arista Networks that year i was introduced to vxlan and it didn’t took me long to adopt with this kind of technology. & my prediction was right!! They will dominate the dc space soon. Feature Programability yes, but i still prefer juniper when it comes to automation. For the sp space Alcatel,Juniper dominates those space.

Thats also good option. But the problem with Palo Alto networks certs are recertification.
