I used to load this game just for the intro sequence with awesome voiceover! The game itself made no sense to me at all, then again I was only about 12 at the time! LOL
When I saw this game for the 1'st time on my computer long time ago it was starting with the best game intro ever. Watching this video and I still remember every line and the video sequences
I loved this game so much, but it was also extremely hard because you had to do certain things at the right time in the right specific order, or else you had no chance to win because you were missing key technologies. It was, at least for me, impossible to win the game without guides from the internet. I remember how my father made some savegame edits with a hex editor, for infinite money and some technologies (but not all), and we were still stuck because we had no tanks and no airplanes. It was just not possible to beat the Morgruls (and the Kalls) only with troops because they had airplanes. A little fun fact: the game has a hard limit for buildings. If you have too many colonies with too many buldings, the game would not let you build more structures. If you reach that limit, you can only build a structure after you demolish another one.

How modern? Is it enough to make it run in Windows without crashing with the same music and graphics (vote on GOG)?
