This spring I bought a Felco 811b and they are awesome for grape vines. I can hold a fork and wave and stuff at the end of the day! Mine has a 1.5 meter extension pole, a one meter is also available.
@@rela4078 The Infaco dealer here is working from his home but the Felco guy has a long running business and I wanted to be able count on parts and service. Mine has been trouble free.
Most of our grandparents are probably flabbergasted that anyone would buy a battery operated hand pruner. Pretty interesting non the less. Now I wanna see it do all that on a hickory branch. Great woodshed BTW
I wish I had those when it's 90 degrees by 10.30am and your thinning blackberries and gooseberry bushes in the hot sun. Or cleaning 8 Miles of fence in 3 days. Or when the sweet little old lady says at 3pm when it's 104 degrees and blast furnace winds. Oh I forgot I know you've removed 3 trees and trimmed by hedges and berries. But could you get that little bush from hell over there. 😳 Yes ma'am I have a battery powered backpack mounted echo trimmer . I'll doe it in a jiffy if you'll bring out a cold glass of lemonade. 😉👍
That's good, because you've done a review on the 161t. You can let us know how they compare to each other, since they are very close in style and performance.
You're great as lumber Jill and cute as heck while you're doing it. Those pruning shears are definitely not a place where you'd want your fingus or your dingus lol
Those short shears are awesome but being distracted even for a second or in a hurry, they will lop your finger or fingers off almost instantly. I prefer pole version because I get enough pain out there.
Spending hours cutting branches manually is annoying but still I won't buy one of those until they come out with an AC version you can use with extension cords for around the house, srsly is that not a completely untapped market? would be much cheaper too.
price is insane, you can get 2 professional small chainsaws for this price and they can do everything these shears can and a lot more. i dont even want to know how much it would cost to repair it too and im sure its prone to breaking.
Nice video, but what is the point of this item? Hand shears, good quality loppers and a silky saw provide for a nice, fine cut and never run out of battery power.
James Frost This impressive young woman is obviously aware of the potential of incurring repetitive stress injuries and the painful and debilitating effects of arthritis. Have you worked as an arborist, horticulturist, nurseryman/woman, orchardist, or viticulturist? You'll learn the hard way - like me or the easy way like her, that mechanical advantage and power-assisted tools and equipment will save your body, exponentially increase production, maintain a happier and healthier staff - can you say, "Workman's Comp", and make you more money for your efforts. Now, grab your hand shears and get me 10,000 boxwood cuttings, 1,000 cut flowers, and pollard 500 trees. Oh, and thin that acre of grapes. You'll get the "point" when it feels like a sewing needle is piercing your knuckle or your big toe, and it's arthritis.
@@reedjeavons7998 It seems that you are trying to score brown-nosing points with the owner of this channel, which is very amusing. Stop sucking up, it's lame. And, while you are at it, stop with the cheek and get off your pompous high horse. You should be considering the item that is the subject of this interesting review. Would you climb with it? From that point of view, which is very much my one, I doubt that I would. I'm not convinced that this item is a substitute for good hand shears, decent loppers and a silky saw. It might come as a surprise to you, but not every new tool is an advance, as anyone with experience in this business will understand. Some new tools really do represent an advance, while others do not. Also, there is great virtue in learning how to sharpen your tools properly. Keep your stuff sharp: It makes a big difference.
I'm very proud to see you as a strong woman taking on your outdoor lifestyle. Good on you !! Great vids...new subber from Canada here🇨🇦👍

Seems like a well thought out piece of kit.
It’s really nice to work with

Здравствуйте !
Ого какие электро ножницы !
Я о таких еще не слышал ,
Благо Дарю вас за интересный видеообзор !
Всего вам самого хорошего !!!
Thank you
A pole mounted version is a great idea! Stay safe.
Now that's something I'd pay good money for. I hate pole loppers in a tree more than poison ivy
Well done young lady as always very complete thank you
Thank you
Very Nice Video 😉
An Happy Birthday to you
Niko Schönlau thank you
Another nice product review. Thank you. Be careful with those things!
I will, thanks
I have a good question how many volt is the unit?
Those are cool! Stihl has one but it's not allowed for import to America. But it's a cool video! Keep it up!
How come is it not allowed in America?

Those pruners scare me more than a chainsaw. I'm curious if the backpack will power the 2500.
What about a review on one of Echo's chainsaws they also make pole pruners.
I'll be doing a review on the Echo dcs-2500T soon :)

Nice tool... Can you share the story of the wooden sculpture visible on background ? Did you made it or someone else...
Yes I made it. Just a way to unwind a bit :)
Have you ever used the Stihl or Pellenc power shears?
d hamby I haven’t
Maybe you could look at Pellenc TH-cam channel? They have some of the highest quality battery powered tools. Also Makita DUP361 are nice shears.

Did you carve that in your back garden?
Yes I did :)
Great video I like it! Do you know if you can use the same battery for other echo's tools? Greetings from Italy😉
Eric Levo unfortunately the battery is just for the dps-350
@@Femalelumberjack It's like I thought.... 😏😏 thanks for the answering felixia!! 😁
I try to watch all of your reviews, but sometimes I'm a little late. This one is good, like usual.
Have you ever used a Stihl 661c-m?
Thank you! Yes I have used 661 👌

price ? and where do you get them from???
You’ll have to contact Echo I was just testing them out
How much does it cost?
Echo DPS-350 vs Stihl GTA 26))))))) What's better?
In my opinion you can't compare the two.
@@Femalelumberjack Ok, I see Your point, thanks!!
Cute parrot ... sharp chin.
Go girl!!!

Please don""t injure those lovely hands. I have arthritis and those would surely help. Great revue😁

I'll keep my review short, but to the point. You did great on the review. Product will fail, because it's not cordless and it is way over priced.
