Yeah you become tolerant...to a point. IMO they are just as hot, you just don't have as violent of a reaction to them. They are great cooked in other foods though, you get the flavor without the violent heat.

I don't know about beast status, I'm mainly just a crazy old dude, there is a video of me eating a yellow ghost pepper on my channel. They are great in chili but be careful , start with one pepper per pot of chili, then you can tweak it from there.

Well if you want to get an idea of how hot that is all you have to do is get a bottle of habanero sauce I put one time I think it was like 5 or 8 drops on a plate with some Mexican food and when I eat those fiber e drops I started to sweat and I felt like I was changing colors habanero is about half the heat of the Carolina Reaper so yeah with knowing how hot habanero is I don't think I'll ever try the Carolina Reaper especially cuz I'm older when you're young you live forever so it wouldn't matter to eat it LOL
