this is a great Australian song - i listen to it while eating pavlova and looking through my Crowded House albums - My name is Russell Crowe, born in Ulladulla!
Yep good on ya 😂
So sad you've left us Murray Ball. Thanks for the fantastic legacy you've left behind. Loved your humour. Footrot Flats will always be my all-time-favorite Kiwi movie. You're a legend.
Love this reminds me of my true roots, proud to be a kiwi
To the Aussies bragging about winning cricket, Guys cricket is like nothing in NZ it was barely ever on the news.
Regardless we shouldn't be arguing, we are ANZAC's, and we are friends.
Joseph Stephens On the battlefield we be allies. On the sporting field its open season on......Kiwis :D
+Holden308 Well the rugby world cup is on so,the tables have turned.
+Levi Lyons its on!!!
+Recreational Channel Big man, kicking us while we're down :-p Remind , if we ever beat you in the footy again to bring your comment back up. :-p
+Joseph Stephens Well Rugby isn't that big in Aussie but that doesn't stop NZers bragging.
If A Land Down Under is Australia's second national anthem this has got to be New Zealand's second national anthem as well ! 😀
Always reminds me of NZ New Zealand. Slice of Heaven accentuates this! Never been to NZ but one day I will!
Love it. Thanks to our Kiwi brothers for this classic 👍
One of my all time faves, love the movie, love this song and of course, I love the books, and I'm only 14
Know one cares what your age is. Think of more creative ways to get attention.
Steve Steven She meant it's a classic and not many of our generation have good taste, were the good ones not them fucked up dubsteppers who don't know who the Rolling Stones are. I have witnessed people wearing band shirts, I then ask how long they have known said band, in which they reply "What Band?" I tell them the logo on their shirt is from a band, they reply with a dumb look on their face "Isn't it the T-shirt brand?"... This is the part I tell them to get fucked and I walk off.
Gabrielle Kelly glad to meet a fellow 2000s kid who loves the classics I wish I read the books
happy 21st!
I really want to go to New Zealand.
Did you go?
Don't hesitate - just go and don't look back. Best thing I ever did!
steven m. No but I am next year. Still got studying to do.
Still listening here in Australia in 2020
I'm still listening from NZ,

a Kiwi classic. I love how music can bring you right back to your childhood : )
Whose listening to Dave in 2018? I met Dave last year and he had a quick jam on my strat before signing it. Real nice guy.
Hey, I got a lot of faith in you
I'll stick with you kid- that's the bottom line
Yeah, you have a lot of fun don't you
And living with you is a ball of a time
Hey beauty when the mood gets you down
Your bottom lip's near dragging on the ground
That's when I gotta play the clown for you
Black humour made you kick your blues
Howdy Angel
Where did you hide your wings
Her love shines over my horizon- she's a slice of heaven
Warm moonlight over my horizon- she's a slice of heaven
Hey, I gotta lotta faith in you
I'll stick with you kid- that's the bottom line
Yeah, we have a lot of fun don't we
And heaven has to be with you all the time
Hey beauty when the mood gets you down
Your bottom lip's near dragging on the ground
That's when I gotta play the clown for you
Black humour made me kick my blues
Howdy Angel
Where did you hide your wings
Her love shines over my horizon- she's a slice of heaven
Warm moonlight over my horizon- she's a slice of heaven

The song is a timeless classic.
My dad has that cartoon dog on his car, very proud of it as a part Kiwi/Aussie
Footrot Flats has to be the most underrated cartoon of all time. :3
WHAT???? yur a bit this and a bit that?? No such thing. Yur Aussie or you aint. None of this 1/2 hearted farts. Your all one thing. Or your all the other. Now be on yur way, Oh and yeah, Kia Ora :)
White and Black Zebra I'm Russian I've lived in Australia for 20 yrs my wife is as Maori as they come what does that make our kids!!!
Let me see now. Yu're a vodka swilling grizzly bear, yur missus is a sweet little kiwi bird. I guess then that makes yur kids alchoholc and ice addicted drop bears. :)
Oh and have you heard the russian red army choir sing Men at Works "Down Under" Its brilliant you should look it up, I am sure you would enjoy it. Ciao for now
Hahaha drop bears that's gold
Brings back memories ... song never gets old! 💙❤️
Was an excange student back in my youth in Oz. Got my hands at 'Footrot Flats'. Immediatelly started liking N. Z. Thanks. Essky
This song makes me proud to have the kiwis as our younger sibling🇦🇺❤️🇳🇿
One of the most Underrated songs of the 80s.
Australia won the cricket world cup. New Zealand have Dave Dobbyn and Slice of Heaven. Not sure who had the greatest victory there.
This song is amazing. So jealous.
(Technically Dave's an Aussie now, but there's no way we can steal him. He's a Kiwi and this is and this is a NZ national treasure).
I love Dave turner and he is a top bloke and kiwi..... Can't wait to have some beers with this Kiwi legend ... Yew !!!
This song played while I was at the te papa museum. Brought back a lot of memories. Now I’m happy to see it again.
NZ's other national anthem
Lol
Yep. better than the real one?!
It's other other anthem after Pokarekare Ana
another song that could be the national anthem is "how bizarre"
That's loyal
