Yes, chuuya definitely has severe attachment/abandonment issues ((raging undiagnosed borderline personality)), but he would NEVER be caught lacking like that in public, and he'd probably be dead rather than be caught by DAZAI... He definitely has reasons to be angry about dazai leaving, but chuuya isn't going to fault dazai for removing himself from a toxic environment. I'd wager he's content with it because he knows dazai's finally happy ((he just thinks the agency people are stupid.)) But I think it's more like chuuya being angry because dazai didn't say anything to him before he left, and dazai was important to chuuya, and when dazai ghosted him, he was hurt because he felt like dazai didn't trust him, and he felt unimportant.
