UK BASS AND SMOOTH-HOUND FISHING (sea fishing)

- So today I had a trip out from Sovereign Harbour Eastbourne East Sussex United Kingdom just me and the dogs (skip and pip).
Our intentions were to go out and try and catch some smooth-hounds there have been a few showing up so I decided to have a go for them.
We hit the 8am lock at Sovereign Harbour Eastbourne, low water was around about 9.30am so I thought I would hit a small structure and have a play around until the tide started on the flood. It was a perfect opportunity to try out some new slow jigs I got from my friend Terry Smith. At Jigabite.
It took me about 20 minutes to get out where I need to be and I’ll be honest. It was nonstop Action on the bass I could’ve made a whole video out of that short trip just waiting for the tide to turn before I went to my 
smooth-hound mark.
But I stuck to the plan and we had a few no real monsters today but great fun. I hope you’re enjoying @ManicFishing as much as I am in making these videos for you and without you and your support, I’ll just be making them for myself so I really appreciate all the support that you give me and the comments and likes I get 🙏🙏🎣 lots of great stuff happening this year. Ever the gentleman. You smash it mate let's be fair. I spent last season learning to drift with lures. Had a lot of fun. Lost a mortgage worth of lures around kingmere. Caught a few fish. Aiming to pick up my game this year and really nail down what you've taught me.
I also don't know how you get out so much, just up the coast from me. I see a video and am glad but also gutted I missed the weather. Would love a video on reading the conditions ahead of time if you ever have a spare moment 😊
