I really really love paka apparel. It's super comfy as a mid layer.
Their socks are also pretty awesome (and have a lifetime warranty)
Arms of Andes is also another great alpaca wool apparel.

This was amazingly helpful. Ty so much for this review. I've had my eye on alpaca and now I'm more informed before I purchase. Ty.

I love doing reviews. Especially when its 10 degrees out. Love their products. Just bought their new Alpaca-down cold weather jacket. Looking forward to using it to.

Enjoy the company. Definitely enjoy the anti smelly nature of alpaca wool.

Im 5.9 and 162lbs do you think I can get away with a S size ? I like athletic fit and the reviews on their page say they run relaxed /loose fit (?) usually I’m between S and M in hoodies .
How much does it weight ? The crew .
Im not liking the hood , it’s just bulk and weight I will use the hood of my sunhoodie underneath and/or my beenie
    :)
    Thank you for your help

I own three styles. All fit the same to me. All of mine are medium. Im 5’ 11’’ and 165-170lbs. I think a small would feel rather snug. Weight avg15-16oz

Yes all my Paka sweaters are medium. All fit the same fitting as other medium brands I own. This also includes my new Pakafill Puffer jacket also from Paka. Also a medium and fits well.

Uhhh... are you wearing an "Ark Encounter" hat? What's with that?

They raised their prices and it's just not worth it anymore at this point.

      Yep
I saw they raised prices up around $135.
I tend to only purchase around the holidays or sales from the smaller cabin companies.
