Thanks, guys! I know you've moved on to a larger trailer, but this video was very helpful to us. We bought a used 2023 ID this past December 2023. I hope your Casita found a good home! Thank you for this video! Best of luck on your adventures!
Happy to hear you found yourself a Casita. Our Casita found a great home with a young couple who is planning some similar adventures to ours. We are currently on an 11 week trip from Canada to Key West and documenting our journeys. Hope you’ll tune in and check it out. All the best!
So glad I found your channel! Your videos are just what I was looking for as am researching the possibility of living full time in a camper trailer. Crazy? Quite possibly! lol ... Weight is an issue for me as I can only tow 1500 pounds with a hitch weight of 150. I drive a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek for the time being. My thoughts in making this transition are living a minimalistic lifestyle and being able to travel more. I have just begun to consider this and get everything in place before I make any decisions. I look forward to scrolling through your videos and I'll keep an eye out for new ones! Happy & safe traveling! - Mikey
❤❤❤I have one I Love it. But I hate the gray color cabinet doors. The old school Wood looking one were so much prettier. I guess the made it gray sew it resembles primer so that you can paint it the color you prefer.🧛
I love the way you decorated your trailer! What kind of bedding did you use? Just normal twin XL sheets? Normal quilts, just tucked? Thanks in advance!
Thanks! For the sheets we used twin xl, but for the quilt we actually took a king size, cut it in half, and hemmed the seems (this was cheaper than buying two quilts)
2400lbs requires a big V6. I’m looking for trainers under 1300 lbs sleeping 4. No bath necessary. Casita use to offer a 13’. I wish they brought that back. Something a 4 cylinder could pull.
The hot and cold water lines are running inside the trailer cupboards. You don’t see any plumbing under the trailer aside from the black and grey water tanks
We did indeed sell it. A nice young couple bought it. We’ve been following them on Instagram and it looks like they are enjoying it. Since selling it we’ve been happily traveling around in our 19’ Fiberglass Escape Travel Trailer.
Casitas are much nicer than scamps. How many gals of fresh water does it have? I’d absolutely upgrade that flush toilet to a composter. What kind of batteries does it have and how many amp hrs?
We upgraded to the 23 gallon fresh water tank. The batteries was just a standard AGM. Before selling it we had planned to upgrade to lithium but never got around to it.

We loved the trailer life so much after this experience that we have purchased a bigger one so that I can have a dedicated office space to work from the road.

@@theoutdoordad7395 did you have a question?
@@md.adventures no- unintentional post, but thanks for asking
@@theoutdoordad7395 no worries
Great job. Luv this little trailer. Only one I found that offers a generous sleeping space. Thanks..
Yes the sleeping space is great!
While we love our Casita, I am very happy that (maybe) you purchased that Escape. More room for dogs, etc.
Happy Trails
You guessed correctly. Looking forward to posting a video soon announcing the news!

I believe that Casita still provides the non painted wood grain cabinets as an option, but not absolutely sure
Luckily they still provide the option of the wood finish instead of the painted finished
You have a wonderful road trip in your Casita.

Looking forward to your next adventure.
Thanks, we are too!
Still for sale?
No, it’s since been sold

You might want to consider looking at a Scamp, I think they still make a 13’
Any chance you have the link to your throw pillows? Thank you!
Unfortunately I don’t have a link but we picked them up at Wal Mart in Florida
Have you sold it? If no, what is asking price? Thank you
It actually just sold last week.
😮😮😮😢😢
I missed this!!
Is there plumbing underneath showing?

Hi guys
Did you sell your casita??
It looks amazing

@@md.adventures I have a van RV and for I have into that van I could’ve bought six of these.
@@AlphaChimpEnergy worth considering getting one, it’s nice to be able to unhook and leave it behind
@@md.adventures the only gain with the van is I can boondock anywhere anytime.

Yes they are
What price did you sell it for?
Actually it’s still for sale.
Is it still available for sale?
@@luketidball5274 no, it’s sold

Yes we did
Great looking Casita! Can I ask how much you are asking for it please?

It is indeed still available.
So surprised to see how poor the finish is on the interior particularly in the storage areas
Perhaps the video doesn’t do it justice but the finish on the interior is actually really good quality
well that didn't last long ... a 22 trailer for sale in mid-23?
