+Chris Simmons lol an old game but ok. If a "lateral" goes forward and dropped it is considered an incomplete pass which is what it was called on the field. There was no visible proof that the ball went backwards as there wasn't an angle exactly parallel with the pitch which is what you'd need to get a conclusive look.

Fuckin ACC has the WORST refs of all time.. That was GSU's game till the worst call in the history of the NCAA
