Excellent, two notes first I prefer doing restoration one tooth at a time, so bonding will not be decreased second there is black triangle, with bioclear matrix you will not have that problem. Regards

Finishing one central before you restore the other isn’t a good idea, i mean the bonded surface of the right central is now contaminated with composite debris

There are many ways to do it he’s doing it his way and NO You don’t contaminate it you have a dam in place …..
@@davidbanner2826 the dam is not isolating the 21 from the 11 though so the debris from 21 can go onto 11 hence interfering with bonding
he etches and cleans with water.. i think that would clean it

I'm amazed and infuriated. Why have I been told by dentists that cavities at the gum line are impossible to treat? So far I've had all but 1 back tooth pulled out and I check out TH-cam only to see several videos of dentists doing this routinely. My life has been drastically dismissed and ruined. Have an overbite and TMJ so I can't eat solid food. I'm left with the loss of bone density and hollowed out cheeks. Front teeth will begin to shift without the structural support of back teeth. I think it's lazy dentistry. Either that or ignorance

Dentist here, would just like to point out that in the dental world- the decay that we see in this video isn't classified as 'at gum line', it is well above (2-3mm) the gum, which is why it is straightforward to fill and restore.
Generally speaking if decay is at the gum line it will extend also below- and that complicates things and reduces chances of success, we can't clean the decay we can't see, or isolate and dry - which are important factors to filling success. There is an expensive surgical option of pulling back the gums to see the decay and clean it (and place filling), again difficult to achieve and often too much trouble for an already very compromised tooth. Anyway many factors to take into consideration, I hope this helps somehow put your thoughts of the past behind. All the best
