@@ray2228not every time it goes back down during the New York 😂. Sometimes it still keeps going in the direction of London. I hat overall determines the “ideal” AMD is the liquidity. Had a specific time liq been taken(previous day/week/month) or is it going to take it

This breakdown was what I needed to understand what I’ve been looking at.
It's a mostly reliable tactic but no tactic is 100% predictive, 100% of the time.
I've missed entry on that FVG in stock trading many times and just a many times, price simply never retraces but continues blasting away from the MTR.
A good strategy to add to a trading plan, I use this to help me enter my trades as well as 2-3 other factors.

What is the "fair value gap" and what is it for? Why is it important?
It's the estimated fair value of the stock. Everything else is the manipulation of which way big "investors,traders" want the price to fluctuate for their gains or loss. That's why you test patterns with buy and sell limits. Set and watch. Certain stocks are held for manipulation, (trading) and others are for investing. But, it's all gambling. Never bet what you don't want to lose.

Sounds like you need to do alot of research. Don't expect to gain it all in 5 minutes. Gain an understanding, do research, test your research, then apply. Always, only spend what you are will to lose.

You first have to understand what cycle the markets are in. (They all follow political and financial cycles). And what market to do it in. Then, find the stocks that are being manipulated. Normally the ones not acting as an investment, but a trade stock. If any of this sounds complicated, then it's time to do research.

@Bk_seli definitely. It's normally a 4 year pattern. (Presidential party in current office). Then find what index is used for those years. Then find the stocks and use the patterns. But, it's not always that cut and dry. But a great way to watch the markets.

It’s called Shorting. You bet against the market, so essentially you make money when the market goes down. Do look it up :)
It is whats called a short position. In forex you can make money even when the price goes down. You can trade in 2 directions
In trading there's two positions you can take. Long positions and short positions. When you put a long position, you're "betting" that the price will increase, and you'll profit depending on how much the price increases. In short positions, it's the opposite. You're "betting" that the price will decrease, and so you'll profit depending on how much the price goes down. If you enter a long position and the price goes down, you lose money. If you enter a short position and the price goes up, you lose money.

yeah believe that and youll lose a lot of money, most of the market moves sideways or simply induce false breakouts where you enter and lose
It looks like a head and shoulders pattern, then the more conservative trader would wait for the break of the neckline(support level)and wait for a retest of that previous support (possible new resistance level if it holds)and if it is retested ,wait for a bearish candlestick pattern to form ,also can go to a lower TF to check for an entry signal ,but sometimes the market doesn't retest and just continues with high momentum, I'm still learning so if anyone has any tips please let me know.

That would make your stop loss the top of the accumulation zone or even worse the previous liquidity sweep high.??
Now in his entry (which is the better 1) his stop-loss is the break of that recent sweep but his loss amount is almost 3 times less than yours.. (Plus his Reward to Risk is 3 times better ) Always look for the cheap trades.
