Italy: a country with an extremely rich heritage of traditional architecture.
Milan: one of the so-called "design capitals of the World".
And these are the drab and dreary results of what the new generations of Italian architects and designers can come up with nowadays.

It's not contemporary, it's from the 1960s. Look at the most recent line, M5 (M4 is opening later this year). There is quite a difference.

      1960s you say?
According to Wikipedia it was built between 1997 and 2008
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milan_Passante_railway
And do you say M5 and M4?
Again both M5 and M4 lines look like they have been designed by a computer not by people. They're both devoid of beauty whatsoever. They look like stockrooms with plenty of cold and grey steel.

@@iamthereforeiwant721 My bad, I thought you had a problem with the metro, because it's the ugly one. As for the new lines it's just a matter of taste, but they are undeniably different.

En fait, c'est l'équivalent du RER C parisien, à Milan!

Somehow the station sounds like a roaring monster

It was built that big, particularly the wide metro platform (not shown in this video) because an interchange with M4 was planned in the original project. This has never been built (now M4, whose construction is underway, has a completely different route).
