I also think it might be the way the editing is done. It's mostly quick cuts and masking. Which isn't done too much nowadays in AMV. Quick cuts and masking is all manual and takes more time. There are a lot of tools to do the same thing automatically now, but manual provides the best outcome. Also, nobody edits or coordinates like I do anymore. Not like they did 14 years back when I was winning awards. I'm still manual baby. Using Sony Vegas and Adobe AE. No Photoshop.
