worked in a display tank (280,000 gallon salt water) for 5 years (about 30' deep) we had two octopuses for a long time, one would often come flying out of his cave and land on the nice shiny regulator. Pretty scary the first time, especially since none of the other divers had warned me, so i screamed, underwater, and rapidly pushed him off, so he got scared and went back to his cave. took me a long time and MANY shrimp to make up with him

I would love to watch an interaction with a specimen of over 100 lbs. That must be kind of scary. I thing such an octopus would as strong as a professional weightlifter, perhaps more.
It's very rare that someone is qualified to take care of an octopus-- the water has to have a specific chemistry-- we suggest leaving it to super advanced keepers.
I'm coming to your channel to get over the nauseating feeling I get when I see these creatures, along with squids too. Good grief the tentacles are just disgusting with those suction cups ick! On them. I'm sorry. I know you love them... I'm trying to learn and get over the creepy, nauseous feelings.

Octopus are one of my favourite sea animals, they’re so inquisitive for such a short living creature. I could watch them for hours.
