We have been to his memorial eight times, in Carthage Texes. We are from Australia We go once in every three years. We stay a month. In Carthage, That is our holy land. We. Are. 73 years old Nobody will take Jim Reeves place Bless his heart, looking forward to our next visit in 2026, We we’re there for his 100th birthday. We get so much joy being there.

I was a very big fan of Jim since childhood and cried my heart out when we heard the tragic news of his plane crash in 1964. I was just 7 years old at that stage of time. Untill today I am in tears when I listen to his music. I still have a lot of records and at a later stage I bought a lot of his cd's. On the Afrikaans Radio Stations they still play his songs on a regular basis. My biggest dream is to visit his grave in America!!!! 😢❤❤
