I haven't started working on this project in earnest yet. I've got the parts from the junkyard and some rebuild kits for various things, but this will be tricky. The messed up fuse block alone is going to be a challenge... but I like challenges. The main issue I'm going to have is the heavy rust damage around the windshield frame. It's bad enough I don't think a bunch of patch panels will save it. I need to finish out the repairs and maintenance to my truck Ms. Mildew, then do some around the house stuff, then I can probably start on the Vandura.
I agree the windshield is thrashed but other than that, it's in pretty good shape. At this point I'm kind of committed as I've gathered all the needed parts to make it work. My intent is to try and get started on this during this winter or the beginning of next year sometime.
Do you have videos about the process and the end of this project ?

That thing is junk dude .. move on. They are AMAZING when they are in nice condition .. you could camp in one easily.
