    I really love this video, it was really helpful. The demonstration was very clear, and I also appreciate the emphasis on the safety precautions. I just bought the Remel 8240 and was lost how to install the cutting bit, and your video was perfect for me. Good Job.

    I took 20 minutes I can't get back yesterday to cut off a plastic spout with a steak knife all because Dremel believes that making instructions that explains their stuff is for babies.
    Thank you for picking up where Dremel left off. I can get this done in 3 mins now......instead of 30.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of this!!! Dremel is terrible at giving instructions. Your videos are just amazing.

    This is awesome! Helped me so much with my Dremel that I’ve had for over a year and barely used because I get so frustrated trying to figure it out on my own, lol. Quick question.. is it ok for the screw to be a little difficult to push through the wheel the first time?

      Hi Lindsey thanks for watching, I appreciate it! I have a Dremel playlist that you may like where I show how to use a lot of the different Dremel accessories and attachments. I also noticed that the screw was a snug fit in the cut-off wheel. Thanks for watching!

    I can't remove the flat head screw. It's in there too tightly

    • @Angel-rf2dg
      @Angel-rf2dg ปีที่แล้ว

      Why did you put it in so tight?

      Only solution is to buy a 2nd dremel and cut off wheel to cut the bit off

      Hi and thanks for watching. Sorry I am not sure what would be best accessory for your project. If you look on the Dremel website it gives a breakdown of each of the accessories and might give you a better idea what will work best for your project. Thanks again for watching!

    There’s a wrench built in to the Dremel.

    how u remove the tiny screw on the mandrel I can't seem to remove it

    • @ToddsGarage
      @ToddsGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Justin, thanks for watching. The Dremel should of came with a small wrench tool, on one of the sides of the wrench tool is a small flat head screwdriver. You can use that screwdriver to turn the tiny screw on top counter clockwise and it should loosen it up until you can take it off. Good luck and thanks for watching.

    If you caution viewers to read up on Dremel instructions and safety protocol then please for the love of all things good just get on with the demonstration.
    If less time was spent on all the precautions then you would've had more time to test the bit on something more substantial than one pvc pipe and a single tiny nail..
