628 Dirt Rooster Schools Yappy On Squirrel Box Bees With An Italian Queen

Dirt Rooster schools Yappy on how to get squirrel box bees up in a tree after his first failed attempt at getting them down with a ladder. But with a little brainstorming, Yappy comes up with the idea to use his tree stand to go up in the tree and get the honey bees that found an empty squirrel box to make a new home in. Although a small bee swarm, they started out with good numbers and were building comb very nicely. After reaching the bees and working the box loose, things were all down hill from there. The Italian bees were very nice and didn't seem too upset with the bump in the process of falling a few feet to the ground after Yappy forget to bring a rope to let them down with. Once the removal got going, all went as planned and the queen bee even made her appearance toward the end. The honey bees have safely been rehomed and are already building comb and foraging.
