has been very slightly nerfed, but also buffed, thanks to modifications to Cradle buffs recently. still really good though, and easier to make happen with Mod Conversion. thanks for the guide

I been using power Surge for a while, i bought outer space because i liked it, all i kept hearing is how amazing Shrapnal was and dont bother with anything else lol but i stuck to power surge as its just sweet to use, my build was similar but you have Defo added some sparks to my celestial thunder :), thanks bro.
That's because everyone and their mother uses shrapnel. And then those people ride the shrapnel train to infinity and beyond because everyone they know uses shrapnel. So it has to be the best right? People are genuinely kind of dumb about this lol

I'm using a very similar build on a server still on stage 4, I easily deal the most damage in PW Pro without buff food or tungsten ammo. Power surge is so fun
Dude you have to play an insanely amount of hours to get those mods where you add damage directly to power surge like your weapon mod, they're reallly hard to get.
I know its lazy on my part. But what I wouldn't give to know where to farm the mods in the actual video. I use this mod, you can find it here and here on this difficulty. 9/10 for the video mate. really commenting for your algo and you deserve more views
Hello there I was checking some videos on youtube for some builds because I am new to this game and found yours. So nice, precise and understandable. One thing I would like to ask as a newbie, the chance that a mod drops blu, purple or gold depends on the difficulty of the "dungeon"? Like if I want to get the mod Deviation Expert for my Mayfly Goggles do I have to do the Silo Alpha on harder modes or also the easy ones can give you gold mods? Thanks
Is lightweight blueprint calibration actually worse though? They both have decreased mag size and attack only increases the damage of your actual bullets. Thats not nothing, but since we dont lean into any kind of crit or weakspot or weapon damage there's not that much damage benefit. So if lightweight rips 3 or 4 mags into something and you want to reload for the trigger chance ramp anyways, could the lightweight not achieve higher dps just by having shorter windows between reloads and also higher actual shooting uptime than the assault calibration?
I just made this, it does alot of dmg. The power surge does so much work for you. Saves you some ammo aswell. One question though. What deviant do you use? I see the gel on your video though
I've been running this set up since week 2 and just melting everything. The only thing I hate is that some boss mobs are coded weird like F giant and a couple of others and PS triggers on spots they are immune to damage on. Been loving everything about this build except for that.
Been using the shrapnel which is great of course, then changed over to a Vortex build which is plain fun, I need something more aggressive, I think this is the next one. Take my like!
@rena3927 Hard to say since I haven't tried it myself. It's definitely worth just going with that if you already have it, unless you want perfectly min/maxed dps. Then you'd have to try them side by side, even then it'll most likely be close.
I think the 2 piece savior is the better option if you can stay above the 70%. It's a 10% all the time buff instead of the ramp up of hitting your target to accumulate your stacks.
You can only get those in the PVE servers doing the Prime Wars, it's crazy how every single content creator forgets to mention it. I farmed Treant a lot and never got one, then i founda reddit post talking about it.
Heyo. Love the build, making things so good! Just a question. Do you run % increase mag size on all your mods as you to 56 rounds (in some of the clips) all while still maintaining the assault style calibration?
@TheTinyOrc I would say power surge dmg but I'm not sure if these are all multiplicative or additive for calculating the total damage. If I were you I'd run a few mags through at the test dummy with each and go with what you feel works best.
@@Haaaterade If I can find out what affects what. What does Status Damage affect PSI? What does Element Affect? Power Surge Increase Dmg does that affect total dmg of power surge? It's all kind of confusing and I was hoping not to be test dummy since I did a lot of mines on Burn build which is WACK.
Build is great and all but I keep seeing that you shoot with around 58 bullets with every short you show of you using the build so am I wondering, are you using the heavy style instead of the assault you are talking about in the vid or you somehow have double my bullets almost?
I'm using Corrosion with Outerspace as my secondary for some range and flat weapon damage with my stupidly high crit dmg stat. 4 Lone wolf, gas mask, renegade. I've gotten a lot of mods for status dmg so will build toward using Outer Space next season (but I love love love Corrosion)

@barryflashe3091 No need to apologize, thats what I'm here for That's really up to personal preference IMO. I'd probably run something like polar jelly or the canine skull if I was running an offensive deviant but I find myself running festering gel more often than not just to have extra healing on hand.

@@GimmeXp88 Open world weapon/gear crates in the 40+ zones can randomly drop them at the highest quality. Or using a controller on Silo chests or crates from prime wars/public event crates like high risk chiron.
Are you testing for average DPS, or are you just wanting to confirm your numbers are high per mag? There's a difference between burst and sustained DPS.
did this get shadow nerfed like the abyss glance build did, or is it still as good? also is the outer space build better than the outsider rifle build? i wanna try an s tier smg build but see so much conflicting info
couldnt surge amplifier be a viable replacement for static shock because it still stacks up to 20% power surge damage but doesnt reduce the time on it. you're also shooting so fact that it will always stack

People need to remember that this only works on the easy servers. I'm doing 100k dps on the easy server and the damage drop off on the hard server is crazy. I'm doing 60k dps max with the same mods and substats.
Quick question, I didn't see anything in the 1.1 patch about our build - so I assume we still continue as if nothing happened unless we wanted to play doombringer ofc.

@AbaddoN5497 It would but I can't remember what the outsiders' weapon perks are. Outer space doesn't rely on any sort of crit to use its perks, if outsider does you want want to supplement this build with some extra crit chance/dmg.
@Redxminder Nope. You get fragments/blueprints for some of the early builds just playing the game. For something like this, yes you'll need a few weeks to save the starchrom.
@@Haaaterade from what i see you only get around 3-4k starchrom from the weekly defense, are there any other consistent ways to get it? otherwise that would take months

Hmm power surge or frost vortex. I had to switch to icy rain last night for pro silo. Looks like they're taking reduced damage unless your debuffing the enemy this week
I think frost is so strong for solo play, because u can self heal and aoe everything. It doesn't do as much damage as other builds but the survivability aspect/aoe is worth it I think

hey so i love the setup and have a thing i did you might wanna try, i watched the vid again but not sure i saw this, when your picking the last cradle perk, instead of sprint or the med cooldown, with bingo as your secondary bounty hunter feels really good
@@overhansable Better in some areas, worse in others. I find myself running this more often unless I need/want an AOE centric build. Though I also haven't really spent much time upgrading the abyss build since I released it. If you're digging frost, stick with it. You can always give this a shot later or when you get the extra starchrom. Variety is the spice of life 🫡
I can't find the Static Shock, it's supposed to be in the Treant (the second boss) but it doesn't show up I've spent about 100 controllers and nothing :(, maybe it's because of the server, I don't know, it helps
@doğadabirlikte I don't use it because I have 4x shelterer and it offers a bigger buff. Not sure about PvP, tbh I'd probably use something else for that like unstable bomber or bullseye.
@SunArau Unless you're heavy duty is upgraded a few stars your Psi will be lower than running all legendary gear. Your psi intensity affects your damage too.
Hey man. Would you say that as a starting point to get the wep > gear > Silo's (normal without using controller until hard mode) > full blueprint gear > Hard mode silo for mods? (Server is brand new that I'm on so just thinking about order of progress at this stage)
@christopherborrageiro4350 Yea thats probably good tbh. You can use the heavy duty set (drops from stronghold mystical chests) as a good filler set until you get your shelterer pieces.
Is this build damage is dependable on psy intensity which you need from upgrading armor blueprint? You have 900 psi, I think regular set gear would have around 780? Doesn't that effect dps by a lot when it comes to this build?

My only issue is with bosses that are status immune. Shrapnel, fast gunner and bullseye builds aren't affected by this and its kinda bullshit

Lower difficulty can give you lower tier versions (purple) or those with lower sub stats.

I really dont know why my dps is nowhere near close to yours,i have the same things lthough my mods arent upgraded but i hit way lower dps like 25k

How important is improving the blueprints? will one star equipment also do the job fine, just sligtly weaker?

I think frost is so strong for solo play, because u can self heal and aoe everything. It doesn't do as much damage as other builds but the survivability aspect/aoe is worth it I think

hey so i love the setup and have a thing i did you might wanna try, i watched the vid again but not sure i saw this, when your picking the last cradle perk, instead of sprint or the med cooldown, with bingo as your secondary bounty hunter feels really good
Better than Frost Vortex ? Making your Abyss build currently and liking the AOE.
@@overhansable Better in some areas, worse in others. I find myself running this more often unless I need/want an AOE centric build. Though I also haven't really spent much time upgrading the abyss build since I released it.
If you're digging frost, stick with it. You can always give this a shot later or when you get the extra starchrom. Variety is the spice of life 🫡
great guide man but why not use outsider rifle it has more % to trigger power surge 35% instead of 25%

I can't find the Static Shock, it's supposed to be in the Treant (the second boss) but it doesn't show up I've spent about 100 controllers and nothing :(, maybe it's because of the server, I don't know, it helps

@doğadabirlikte I don't use it because I have 4x shelterer and it offers a bigger buff. Not sure about PvP, tbh I'd probably use something else for that like unstable bomber or bullseye.

What about using 3 sheltered and 2 heavy duty? Or 4 sheltered+1random is more beneficial?
@SunArau Unless you're heavy duty is upgraded a few stars your Psi will be lower than running all legendary gear. Your psi intensity affects your damage too.

Hey man. Would you say that as a starting point to get the wep > gear > Silo's (normal without using controller until hard mode) > full blueprint gear > Hard mode silo for mods? (Server is brand new that I'm on so just thinking about order of progress at this stage)
@christopherborrageiro4350 Yea thats probably good tbh. You can use the heavy duty set (drops from stronghold mystical chests) as a good filler set until you get your shelterer pieces.

Not really.. mayfly goggles doubles your power surge count so thunderclap mod procs more frequently.

Is this build damage is dependable on psy intensity which you need from upgrading armor blueprint?
You have 900 psi, I think regular set gear would have around 780? Doesn't that effect dps by a lot when it comes to this build?
