    how is the job market these days? I'm putting a lot of serious thought into going into one of these schools the only thing really holding me back is the fear of investing all the money and not having any work

      Nun Ya i graduated from the Ocean Corp in Houston Tx IN MAY 2015 and work is slow as hell some company have work but they are giving it to the old timer$ that have bean diving for a while that have experience u have to be twnding the divers like a bitch for at least 2 to 1 year or more they might put u to dive but its going to be on the mud Hole thats how we called it plus out of all my class maggots i was the only one that last it for a 1.5 years the first 3 to 5months of the year rhey dont have work for offshore and if they do they are small jobs 2 to 5 or 6 days on and off dont have a set secdual. I GOT MORE STUFF TO SAY BUT IT ALL TAKE A LONG TIME

      Its off and on throughout the year. My company has been keeping us all working full time year round.

    So I wanna become a diver is college required or no of not what age do u gotta be and plus do u need experience with diving?

    The course of open water dive is 60mil kuanza... That help but is not thé same as scaphandre

    OMG total klusterfuck... but as a 40 year x/navy/commercial Diver , it warms my heart to see young men step up to the plate and say , I wanna be a deep sea diver,,,

    Do you get an IMCA saturation ticket from this school or is it just a familiarization of what you will eventually get to do?

      I ask because I've already been to dive school, I'm just looking for a school that does IMCA certs so I can work overseas

    The course is 15euros in some areas... Is a lot of money but make sense

    Why have the cylinder upside-down? Don't you lose a lot of length of the regulator chords that way?

      @@gwarguts Ahh yeah ofc. It must be impossible to reach the valve with the hardhats on if the cylinder were to be fastened upright.

      The bailout is usually upright and on at the bottle, off at the hat, the only helmet i know of where you flip it upside down its the gorski g2000ss/freeflow helmets since it dosent have a valve on the helmet to turn off

      @@lolimthenoob US divers use upside down bottles for everything I dive off at bottle and off at hat in case of leaks
