@@trinastewart1565 yes, this year all the upper classmen i think are permitted to get the “singles” and rooms like mine. All the freshmen are only allowed the quads.

@@trinastewart1565 you’re welcome!! So fari haven’t seen any bidy do a dorm tour of the quads, however if you go on instagram and look up @ ellcbowie, they have videos of each style of room, you may have to scroll down some.
The transfer process was basically the same as if you were to apply there as a freshman. You do have to send in your transcripts from your previous college and they go over them to figure out what classes transfer. Some of my classes didn’t transfer so I talk to my advisor which was the chairperson for my major and she got some of those classes back for me so I wouldn’t have to retake them. And then you just have to schedule which classes that you still need to take to graduate to continue.

Is Bowie a safe school? How are the meals? Do u think it's a good option for an international student? How are the ppl there? What's the social life like?
Bowie it pretty safe, i havent had any real problems with safety. The meals are okay. We have a few options, nothing real fancy. I know a few international students here and they seem to like it too. For the most part the people here are nice and friendly. (No im not just saying that). They have alot of events and things to do but there are better parties and events off campus.
Hey! ELLC is literally accross the street from campus. However most of the events on campus is about a 10 min walk from ELLC. Theres not much parking at ELLC so bringing a car wouldnt help much. There is a shuttle that goes around campus that goes from ellc to the a few major buildings around campus, especially the student center which is where the food is lol.

It was an okay process. All my credits didnt exacly transfer but im still working in that. Im a social butterfly so i made friends pretty easily. I didnt know that many people on campus so i had to meet a bunch of people. Also my roomate is not a transfer stufent but she is a junior, which i am considered to be too. Thanks so muchh!!

@@theresaspriggs9155 great question. And no, all the rooms are not the same. There are alot if “dorm style” rooms where u are in the same room as your roomate. They also have rooms like mine without the common area. They have single rooms where you dont have a roomate or suitemate at all. My daughter is a freshman she just got accepted to the Ellc. So she have her room number and it says B1 next to it what does the B1 mean?
I think that means she has more than one room in her suite and her room is the b room and she shares a room with another person.
How did you get the privilege of having an apartment style dorm ?
I chose it when applying for the room!
