Great video! I had some thoughts around the turn at 1:50, where you raise, evo up into Zudomon Ace, and then swing with your other Gaogamon. I couldn't help but feel like this play is really risky due to the presence of Mega and Giga Death (which was extremely unlucky obviously). Maybe it would be better to swing before evolving into Zudomon Ace, or actually keeping the Digimon in raising and going Zudo Ace up front? Obviously you still won this game so it's not like it really matters, but since I'm still learning the deck I'd appreciate your thoughts!
Glad you asked, the reason for this line of play was mostly because Imperial is still new to me and when I played it I didn't run giga death, instead I ran mega death, so I wasn't totally aware of the different possible bombs Imperial could run and I thought to myself this way if I hit a bomb he would bounce a very useful piece back to hand so it wouldn't matter too much since I was still in the early stages looking for pieces. However in a situation where all my pieces we're readily available the correct play in my opinion would be to stay in the back and digi twice into mirage to pass turn at 2. Judging by his hand size that would've most likely locked his turn to simply dropping a tamer and from that point on he would just be too far behind.
Yea, imperial is really strong so it doesn't always go well, but figuring out the match up is a big part of learning how to beat any deck, keep trying to figure out what hurts them most and best zudo timings, that helps a lot!

Do you think Mirage is still relevant in this meta and the upcoming one ?
As far as I know mirage stays relevant for a long time after bt16!
I keep play testing against my friend I mirage and him imperial and for the life of me I cannot beat him 😢 lol
