I’m in the peri op 101 course now and just passed my final exam! I felt you on those modules because girlllll it drained me lol

You should also consider teaching in the medical field. You're very intelligent and you really motivate others .

Hey @Naptural_RN! New to your channel. Very informative video. I was assigned to the OR as a new grad and I have been there for 1 year. I love it! Question...Are these programs offered online? Sadly, I don't have these programs in my country :(

That's where you can purchase them - the agent I spoke to said that is exactly what Facility give to there nurse but you receive certificate for each module instead of just one as a whole with the facility. Call them for more questions.

As far as your test, would you say that you could have passed solely off the written materials? I have a prescheudled vacation during my periop program and I wanted to inquire like can I do both? Or should I cancel my trip

Is this a program through your hospital once your hired or is this a class you sought out yourself?
I was hired into an OR fellowship at my hospital which includes this course.
Can you do this before getting hired into an OR job? I’m going to be a new grad in a few weeks and wondering if this is something I can do on my own for my resume and to have the certificate already
Don’t do that. Work first and get your skills up then after a year or two… go for itttt
I started periop 101 today any tips? Also do your scrub caps cover you’re braids? I have braids now and I need to find caps that fit
🙂Hey there! As far as tips go, just embrace the experience, take notes, and have fun. I do have some scrub hats that are bigger than others and my braids fit. I also will sometimes use the blue bonnet hats that most jobs supply like the one I'm wearing in the thumbnail to this video. Hope this helps!
