Thanks for the video. We've a 5yo - would the Phase 5 Shrimp be much better or is there no big difference ? On the other hand my wife could use the Scamp with her 115 lbs - she's always on the brakes with her Hyperlite Shim.
There is a few differences between the Shrimp and the scamp the first and more major one is that the Shrimp comes in a single 1inch skim fin set up. So the board is a little bit more skimmy and doesn't have as much traction as the Scamp. The second is the weight limits the shrimp has a weight limit of 100lbs while the scamp has a weight limit of 120 lbs. So the scamp gives a bit more room for the young riders to grow. And lastly is the length of the boards are different by about 5 inches the scamp being 5 inches longer then the shrimp. The Scamp could be a great option for both your 5yo and wife.
