I can't say what landing we used because I promised someone but most landing should be good for foot traffic. If you have a ATV or snowmobile then I would advise checking ice thickness first. Where I was at had inconsistent ice thickness, some area was about 8 inches and some was 12 inches. at the very deep areas it could be 6 inches or less.
This was Thursday and Friday before New Years. Ice is very inconsistent, curtain area it's 8 inches and in some areas it's 12 inches. ATV and snowmobile is good. Some people driving smaller vehicles but they are taking a big risk.
2lbs will pull these guy, You will just have to slowly pull them in. For the most part they don't pull hard like open water. It's more like you're just pulling in weight. I was using 4lbs with a 12lb leader just so I don't get cut off if I catch one of those toothy critters. lol
Out of Woodlands?
what lure was you using if you dont mind me asking????
Great video!
Thanks
Man I have been wanting to hit the DL Tanks for a LOOOONG time!
Now is the best time since there isn't any snow on the lake 😁

What lake is this?
Devils Lake in ND
Looks like you were in about 40 feet of water...if you you don't mind me asking, how deep were the white bass?
They run around anywhere from 30 - 40 feet of water.
40 ft
Is this recently or last season? Enough ice to drive on already? Lol

@zbassr2106 from the public boat ramps you are looking at a little over a mile walk. So very doable since there isn't any snow on the lake right now
