This was one of the best parades at the magic kingdom at walt Disney world in Orlando Florida. My favorite float was the lion king float. I wonder if they will turn the castle into a birthday cake for the 50th anniversary which is next year.
It would be great to see the castle as a giant birthday cake again but the castle has already had a make-over for its 50th Anniversary & I totally agree with you there with this being one of the best parades, Thanks for watching

Remember The Magic/Magical Moments, now that's a parade I hope to see come back someday. This was the first-ever Disney parade I watched along with my family while at Disney World years ago and while it sucked I missed out on the show stops back then, I had a lot of fun with this one. The theme song has been fully etched into my brain since I first heard it for the first time in a long time while in college and back then, it and the parade have become beacons that remind me of a much simpler time. I loved all the floats but Little Mermaid is my fave with Lion King coming at a close second (especially with the carnival-like show stops featuring Under The Sea that I can't stop jamming to). This might be just me but when can we do this parade again?
Oh I loved this parade. Fun fact (or not) In my loft I have one of the 25 anniversary signs that we’re up in the MK at the time, it’s been up there ever since the celebration finished, I must put it on the wall some day. Cheers Dave
Oh WOW Mark that's pretty cool you have one of the 25th Anniversary signs & yes you MUST put it on one of your walls as that will look pretty spectacular & indeed you will be able to remember the magic of Walt Disney World every time you look at it, Can I ask how did you manage to get this incredible piece of Disney Parks memorabilia?
Disney Dave Hi Dave. Once the celebration was over, they had a huge Disneyana sale at the Contemporary Resort, they even sold the inflatable icing that was on the castle and the candles that were on the front of it. I bought the sign from there, not even thinking how I’d get it home. I might dig it out today :) Keep up the good work my friend.
