can you put a map on those instead of a monitor ?
when i try to turn on the sight there just comes up an error on the screen
There was a vehicle i had that used something like this (raven by vector dynamics) and i crashed it, i repaired engines and most of it, and when i powered up avionics, the main display that shows what weapons you have had a bsod on it. Not one like windows but it was blue with text on it (like old windows bsod) and it said something along the lines of: Severe Microcontroller Error.
Does anyone know how or why this happens, i checked with the creator of the plane and they said they never seen it before and it is not intentional.
I wasted a few hours just watching all your videos on this and trying a few different gun sights then trying your Custom GunSight designer and trying my own shot at it and the Microcontroller I created with a video in or out to the screen isnt working at all with the even default lua script hooked up to it. I tried the site you showed and when I made my gun sight in Gimp it said Can not export Indexed image as BMP. So I exported it somehow still and it turned my entire background on the image gold like the gradient I used to put the dots for the sight. Then It shows up on the Reflector sight addon where you can do your own lua ... when I copy pasted the info from the site however... Its got a gold back ground or white cloud background in game and theres black somhow on the dots when there was no black anywhere on my image. I am trying to recreate the Gun Sight from Janes WWII fighters for my P-51 and none of your videos or custom sights allows simple dots a single filled square to make the sight. So I did figure out I can probably make it with the Draw lines and use two lines to make a square where the dots would be but... It doesnt work because Gimp Doesnt allow export of Indexed images and to BMP and there is an addon for Gimp but it involves a bunch of stuff that I dont want to mess with all for a simple gun sight. For some reason the game doesnt want to see a new Micro controller with a Video out and a lua script hooked up to it with an ON HUD and electricity hooked up to it. It doesnt show anything not even the default green screen.
Everything I try to do in stormworks is like pulling teeth and every tutorial is always broken or doesnt work or is out of date with this damn game. lol.

I followed all the steps, but my microcontroller has no logic input or output on the physical creation. Is there something I'm missing? Edit (5 sec after original): I'm a dumbass, i forgor to switch to video logic

my problem is that the site has no HTTPS and yes i am a scaredy cat when it comes to the internet

how would i apply this to a camera, Currently having issues getting the camera feed to show up with the reticle
you do the same thing but instead of connecting it to a hud you connect it to a monitor and in the microcontroller you add a node that will be connected to the camera and in the microcontrolled to the lua script

the hud isn't drawing the circle, it's not drawing anything
Might need to set the opaqueness of the sight to like 255 or something. Go in the lua script, add a 4th number in the color line, and set it to 255. Might work.
@@smakkacowtherealone figured this out, the HUD was backwards was the problem! it only displays on 1 side, i feel stupid
