Looked like a fun time camping and diving! I would love seeing you wear that robe holding a wooden staff, or a couple of stone tablets on top of a mountain! LOL! Actually it turned out good! The hood was a good call! Thanks for sharing!

i don't think the hood is too large at all (but truth be told, i've always wanted to be a wizard, too, lol). I would love a pattern of this just as it is. i'd totally make and wear this!

I really enjoy proof of concept projects! The large hood is pretty spot on for the process , but I would suggest, if you have a few minutes, consider adding a drawstring around your face. IIRC it is often windy on the water. Thanks for sharing. Chris in Melbourne..and yes, I type my comments while the video is playing…YT used to pull the comment box away when the video was done, and that annoyed me, so now I miss some things and comment before I see where you were going …love your content!
Because of the particular application ... I'd suggest adding another pair of buttons/toggles further down as a safety precaution.
When I bought these, I got the last 4 on the rack, but when I make a "real" version of this, I definitely intend to add more fasteners. Wouldn't want a wardrobe malfunction to make me famous 😂

No alligators or crocodiles? Nice clear water.

Alligators are definitely a possibility. In 2015, a freediver was killed by a large alligator at a popular spring diving site. They don't seem to congregate in the springs in the same concentrations as other places, but the rule of thumb everyone should adhere to in Florida is; if there is water, there could be an alligator in it. (This even includes salt water, as they can and do sometimes show up on beaches, although they can't stay in salt water environments indefinitely.)
American crocodiles' range doesn't currently extend this far north, and they tend to stay in or near salt water environments (although not exclusively). I think it will be some time, if ever, before an American crocodile shows up in any of the springs, but you never know!

Great job,i don't know if you can help,i have an old industrial singer sewing machine,with a clutch motor,when the motor speeds up and when it slows down after turning electric off the motor screams a high pitch noise,tried googgling an answer all it said that machine needs to be lubricated 😊😊😊😊

Let me start with the caveat that I am not at all knowledgeable when it comes to electric motors, so I am speculating wildly, and any advice I offer should be taken with a grain of salt.
So, when you turn the motor on, it accelerates to its maximum RPM and stays there until you turn it off. If I'm understanding what you are saying, as it accelerates to max RPM it squeals, then operates normally, then when you cut the power it squeals as it decelerates to an eventual stop.
As you found, an answer isn't easily found by googling.
If I am understanding your description of the problem correctly, my wild guess is bearings or something of that sort that are under more stress (or experience excess movement) during acceleration and deceleration. You can disassemble the motor and try to determine if anything is obviously loose or worn, but I don't know enough about it to advise any further.
Clutch motors are generally available on the used marketplace for not a lot of money (I see $25 motors pretty often). Otherwise, it might be worth changing to an inexpensive (+/- $130) servo motor, which will GREATLY improve controllability and operate much more efficiently.
If you are intent on keeping your motor going, you might check your locality for an electric motor shop. Electric motors are used for all kinds of industries, and cities of any reasonable size might have a shop that rebuilds motors (there isn't anything special about a sewing machine clutch motor from a motor perspective). If it isn't cost effective to have them repair or rebuild the motor, they might at least be able to tell you what is wrong and what needs to be done to repair it.

You were right,my son a mechanic took motor to pieces and one of the bearings wouldn't spin,now to find out where i can get a new one,thank you 😊😊😊😊
