It's getting people to accept the facts as they've been filled in by Mueller and continue to be by ongoing investigations. To accept that Trump reveals his true self every time he speaks unscripted or tweets. @@dvchel It is estimated that Russians spent $100k on Facebook ads. Not all ads. Just FB ads. That estimate could be high. Or it could be low. We really don't know how much they spent on FB ads or on any other ads. Facebook reported at one point that it was about $100k. And if you know anything about advertising on FB, you know that $I00K goes a LONG way. I
      It is alleged that Russian money found its way into Trump's campaign coffers through a variety of means, the extent of which we don't know. Trump had the benefit of millions of dollars in free advertising thanks to the fact that the media could not stop reporting on his every move and statement and his propaganda machine, Fox News, promoted him non-stop.
      .Clinton had $1 billion (again, that's an estimate) on her entire campaign, not just ads. At the end of the day, the only actual audited and verified account of campaign spending was produced by Hillary Clinton's campaign. The Trump campaign's report is currently being audited and has not been verified by an objective source. In fact, it is being legally contested.
      Do try to get the facts straight before commenting. And let us know your sources, while you're at it.

      Possibly, but it could also be because he is a very private person who rarely speaks in public. Plus, can any of us even imagine the amount of pressure he's been under for the last 2 years? I'm sure some of that is seeping through.

    • @goldgem1infinityx872
      @goldgem1infinityx872 5 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @@JustWasted3HoursHere Well, that pressure wasn't only from the work per se but also from the Justice Department insiders who were routing for Trump. I bet Barr might have cajoled Mueller tactically to stop investigating further, in which case Trump Jr, for one, could have been interrogated. Once, Mueller stopped short of talking to Donald Jr., he had some room to claim what he is now doing: that is, not concluding definitively either way. I think not concluding the President is innocent rings louder than not concluding he is guilty. If I were Trump, I'd be more worried about the huge space made available to the Public to fill in with their own conclusions after reading the Report.
      What stands out of these remarks is what Mueller said to the effect that had his outfit found the President innocent of any crime, it would have said so. Thus, Mueller's outfit did find crimes committed by the President but could not say so because the DoJ policy would not permit the latter's indictment. Hence, all that is left is in the hands of the Congress. Amazing!

      Thank you for paying attention too. I commented that he said he won't say any more than what is in the report and is public for two reasons. The first is so that he can testify without Trump claiming executive privilege because the report on which he is commenting is already public and therefore not covered under executive privilege. The second is to show that Trump and Barr were trying to stop him from testifying about what has already been released to the public because of Barr trying to twist the words of the report to falsely exonerate Trump. To sum up his resignation speech, he pretty much said that Trump and Barr tried to prevent him from testifying publically about his report which is already public because Barr totally misrepresented his report to falaely exonerate Trump when any sane person who read the report knows that Congress was clearly meant to impeach Trump for obstructing justice.

      The Crimson Eye false - they were investigating Russian interference as early as the second half of 2015. It would not have interrupted anything. Not to mention... the Russians took out both pro-trump and anti-trump ads, so there wasn’t even any blatant form of supporting one candidate. I heard personally from a former Federal Prosecutor who noted that Obama knew in real-time everything about what the Russians were doing, and was aware of FBI investigations into Trump. They even sent agents to the trump campaign to pretend to be Russians with information. Those advances were REFUSED. Tell me how that isn’t a blatant abuse of power in an attempt to help Hillary win? The investigation was the result of Obama’s administration trying to cover up their wrongdoing by justifying it with this Russia nonsense, which they KNEW at the time was inconsequential to the election’s outcome.

    • @Hunfrid91

      The evidence gathered can be used by congress to impeach or it can be used to Indict after his term is over. There are options but right now congress is split. So congressional oversight is limited and the DOJ doesn’t charge a sitting president because it sets a precedent that any DOJ administration that doesn’t like the sitting president or disagrees with his policies can be removed via criminal charges.
      Unfortunately, many people thought he would be the end all for this but it only got the ball rolling. He is giving the responsibility to congress to impeach or remove him from office.

      @TheUnDrunkPCBastard _ That isn't true. Plenty of people said Russia did no meddling. And Trump's administration had multiple felony convictions, specifically for lying about their communication with Russia.

    • @AMcGrath82
      @AMcGrath82 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @TheUnDrunkPCBastard _ I recognize that Russia only exposed one party because they had more control over Trump than any Democratic candidate. Now that Republicans like Cohen and Manafort have been exposed, we have a more accurate view of both sides.

    • @AMcGrath82
      @AMcGrath82 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @TheUnDrunkPCBastard _ What's laughable was Trump saying "I don't see any reason why it would be Russia' while in Putin's presence, then walking it back less than a day later. "The sentence should have been...'I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be Russia'." *That* is laughable. Trump doesn't even know how to get a bill passed through congress. Mitch McConnell had to publicly explain to him how a bill gets passed. That's why he never replaced Obamacare. He doesn't know how to do it. Russia's smartest move was putting someone that incompetent in office. Trump's a laughing stock and Putin knows it.

    • @AMcGrath82
      @AMcGrath82 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @TheUnDrunkPCBastard _ Oh please. He kowtowed to Putin. He's said from day one that there was no collusion. Now two members of his administration have been caught red-handed and both are convicted of felonies. Trump has no credibility. That's why he hasn't acted on his promises. He doesn't know how. He said he'd have a a replacement for Obamacare, and he said he'd have Mexico pay for a border wall. Well, he had two years with all three branches of the government well under his party's control. He couldn't do it. So yeah -- he's a laughing stock. The only thing more laughable is your attempts to defend him against overwhelming proof of his incompetence.

      Agreed. Writing a book is tough enough, but writing a book every word of which is going to be parsed and pored over by countless lawyers, politicians and historians for a long time to come is scary. Imagine the checking and re-checking, the copy-editing and re-writing. Phrase a sentence wrongly and you could cause a constitutional crisis. To have completed the task in less than two years is pretty miraculous. Admittedly, Mueller had assistants but the buck stops with the boss . . .
