The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials I noticed you crossed the lines between the first a second core strand. I cross my under and over the two center strands. Does this make a difference?

Hey. Thank you for this. I did this with a firefighter theme. I weaved it with a bright yellow like you did with the diamond and a base color darker tan. I then put silver down the middle. I used a metal shackle too. First time having to make the start of four cords to do the trilobite.

After a few hours of tests and braiding and un-braiding and braiding again, I have managed to make a Trilobite Jawbone watch strap replacement. It's one bracelet, it uses no adapters and works fine, the four cords just go underneath the back-plate and the 4 strands of the core. Used the lockable buckle. Looks, feels and works fine. Never could've done it without your great tutorial, thanks!

Great Tut Tim, I love this pattern partly cause the trilobite has such a comfortable feel and the accents are just a plus...I gutted about half of my accent cord as well and it made it that much more sleek and added some brass beads along with a predator buckle and,"WOW"....That's all I can say,lol...

This is a good braid I'm using glow in the dark highlights since the work I do sometimes carry me late In the evening during the fall and I need something to catch my bus' light while I wait for him to get home....
Five thumbs up on a job well done on the tutorial ...
    :-)
Just finished melting the ends and fastening it to noise cancelling muffs and through the coat loop on my backpack...
Spent a few bucks to do the project but it got the job done

Hey Tim! after i finished watching this video, you left a lot of extra licorice paracord with the suggested length of 9ft, i always afraid to waste the paracord, so do you suggest me to get ''maybe'' less than 9ft ? or stay with 9ft. Plus, my bracelet circumference is about similar with yours around 16.5cm-17 ''maybe''.

I've done alot of y'all's tutorials over the last couple months. I take them to our local craft shows and I like giving them to my friends. I had done a Sanctified red, white and blue bracelet and everyone loves it but it is 1/2 inches thick. so I was looking for a way to do a red white and blue bracelet that was as thin as the trilobite. After doing a bunch of these Jawbone Trilobites I thought I'd try it with 2 accent colors, white and red, with the base being blue and it is coming out really good. I'm not sure how to post a pic so u cud see it. lemme know where & how to post a pic of it for u,😊 Thanks for your awesome tutorials!

Thanks! You most likely have polyester paracord. Nylon paracord is much softer feeling, pliable, and easier to work with. Also, I don't think you can really soften polyester paracord for that matter.

    • @TheWeaversofEternity

+truckinbalou1 The one foot per inch rule would be the linear length of a single strand. Not doubled over. It doesn't always apply to every design though.
