Damn! It really does take a village! As a child growing up, you really don't understand the breadth of it, and why you go back and forth from grams, to cousins, aunties and uncles houses on weekdays and weekends!

The more I watch videos (her guestings/interviews) of Gabrielle Union-Wade, I can't help but be amazed. Gee, this super Mom, actor-producer, entrepreneur, author, wife of a former NBA star (and successful man himself), an activist (with her advocacies) and all of that stuff seem to be wearing different hats all at the same time! I just adore her.🤗❤️
Jill Scott said she taught her son the necessity of work by leaving him at home alone for however many hours (with help nearby & a cell phone for security if needed), but without all the extras and having to do things manually without electricity like making a sandwich instead of cooking & no tv, no cable, no video games, etc. When she came home he said Mom the bills need to be paid because we don't have this or that & her response was, that's why I have to go to work! Her sister & nephew also moved in with her so they support each other.
Kelly Rowland said she had to explain the same thing to her son. He eventually began to understand what she meant.

Tamron is beautiful, yes sometimes her fashion designer, has her look like a little girl.but she is always beautiful and very fashionable.
Union has a different style with parenting , but kids seem so grown these days. The way they speak and behave I guess has change due to the times. It like no respect for adults and children seems from toddlers age are treated as equal where it’s hard to tell who is the parent and who is the child. It’s common to hear my child is my best friend. What happen to my daughter or my son . Most children now tell the parent what they are going to do or won’t do. Are we lost in guiding and talking to. Children.

If you think about it, there could be many reasons - access to skin specialists, staying indoors a bunch, lighting on a set, and sunscreen. And in the winter, I get a tad lighter versus in the summer when the sun is constantly on my skin.
