How to tell if it’s God or if it’s the enemy trying to distract you | Discernment

1 John:2
For you to know what God says you must read the word of God you must grow in his wisdom to spot what is consistent with that. Many times the enemy will try to distract you with things you want, but is it a blessing or a distraction? “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, don’t lean on your own understanding. seek his will in all you do and he will show you which path to take.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Don’t think that it was something from God if it’s not in his word.
