We have a camp at the confluence of Wild Boy Run and the East Fork of the Sinnemahoning Creek. Kettle Creek, Cross Fork and Hammersley Fork are over the mountain from us, easily accessible. We are in Trout nirvana there.
I just found your videos. Absolutely fantastic! I fished the kettle this years with some good friends and absolutely loved it!! Keep up the great work!
Great video guys. I was on Kettle about same time you shot this video. Love fishing Kettle Creek the aquatic life is incredible. Keep up the good work.
Fun vid! Try using a "Ketchum-Release" with a GoPro - then you never have to touch the fish and never have to take it out of the water. Result? You catch and release fish has a better chance of survival.
As always great work! Kettle creek seems pretty special. So lucky your family has a cabin up there. I am very envious! I will need to make a trip out there next year for sure and hit Kettle and tribs. PA Woods and Water just did one too. You guys must have just missed each other. Look forward to your next piece of work!
We are really fortunate to have grown up there and gotten to learn the area so well! I bet we were up there at the same time. We're up there every weekend during the spring so if you make it up next year, give us a heads up and we can get together. I'd be happy to show you a few places. The main creek has some of the best hatches in the state! Of course I am just biased though so take that with a grain of salt haha
Aquatic insects are fascinating! We have a video coming out soon to introduce a new video-series we are doing on fly fishing hatches. If you found this interesting, I think you'd enjoy! Video coming out today at 6PM
I'm heading up to camp tomorrow after work to check trail cams and get some tree stands set up. I have heard that the water is still in great shape, and I'm definitely going to fish Kettle and some of the tribs in my free time this weekend. Awesome video! I can't wait to see the footage that you guys got out in Montana.
It has been a while but I've fished up that way before. Since our camp is below Cross Fork we tend to fish that section more. Upper kettle is always worth a trip up the valley though! Thank you for watching!
We have not tried it yet. Looks like a great rod though. I don't even know of anyone who has one for that matter. I'd be curious to know what people thought
There are browns in most of the good sized tributaries unfortunately. They are still fun so i guess it can be a good and bad thing. We do know of a few larger tribs though that have only brook trout and they are some of the nicest brooks I've caught!
Around here at least they can grow to 10 inches, maybe bigger. I've never caught one that big though so for all I know they can get bigger that even that! Thanks for watching!
Great videos and thank you... I realize they are from 4-5 yrs ago, but still beautiful...
I had a camp on East Fork in Wharton...
Great video. I love the Kettle and Sinnemahoning watersheds in NC PA. Good fishing, beautiful country
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching and commenting!

That is one of my absolute favorite streams to fish. Have been fishing that stream for years now and it never disappoints.
Such a great watershed with so many fantastic fishing opportunities! This trib is one of my favorites! Thanks for watching!
Nice video guys. Can't go wrong with some native fishing
Absolutely! What they lack in size they make up for in beauty, plus the places to fish for them are just great! Thanks for watching!
Going up there this weekend
Hopefully the fishing is on!

YES!!! If only I could channel his fish catching ability now! Haha. That man can pull a fish out of anywhere! Thanks for watching!
Have you ever tried upper kettle creek, off of the butternut hallow road?

Have u tried the new orvis h3 euro rod ? Best videos man.

Were you guys up in the Tamarack area today? 3/18/23
We were not. We frequent that area often though.
Are the browns crowding in on that upper headwaters area of Kettle?

Wonder how big a brook trout can get too in size ?
