Do you know it feels if you are 15 years old in high school and after learning maths you watch this video and you know that in future lots of cars will be electric and you want to buy a gt3 one day. That's one of the greatest motivations of all time.
I think for the next 15 years you will still be able to buy cars like this but yes no one knows the future and electric cars are being pushed more than ever now.
Epic video. There are no other car comes close in terms of driving experience, and pure thrill as this manual GT3. In my opinion the Manual 991.2 GT3 is the best sport car under $200K or at any price for that matter. It certainly is not the fastest car, but certainly the best handling car, while offering the best driving experience on street or rack. The flat shifting is one of the best features of this GT3, and closes the gap in terms of quickness between PDK & manual on track or street. My average lap time on track between driving my own manual GT3 and driving my friend’s PDK GT3 back to back was only 0.30 second, and this is mainly due to the no-lift shifting, which is very addictive and is best experienced while shifting at or near 9000 RPM, it truly feels like shifting a PDK. Great video, great car, and welcome to America. Mark
Brilliant color choice! Love the matching interior seat backs and air vents also! Congrats to the owner on such a wonderful car. I imagine it gives him immense joy and also spreads joy and enjoyment to others everywhere it goes. It definitely made me smile and brightened my day. And thank you Luke for this wonderful video! Cheers :-)
I'm 14 and since electric cars are taking over, I hope the prices of GT3's dont shoot up so that I'd still be able to buy these cars instead of electric ones.
@@flexinclouds work hard on your own business (doing something valuable for end consumers not work bosses) and investing. college + employment is the path to maybe getting a gt3 when you're 55. own business and investing is the path to maybe getting it when you're 28.

I drive a 991.2 GT3 at the Porsche Experience for 90 minutes, and the sound at 9000 RPM is amazing. That exhaust on the car in the video is amazing, talk about some nice noise. Maybe too loud for a daily, at least for me now that I’m 40 though.
Your videos are pure art ! Thank you for sharing this immersing experience of yours. Have fun and keep up the good work! Ps the sound of this car is heavenly
Respect Tom 🙏🏻😎😎😎😎😎 what a spec👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 awesome GT3 Luke, that sound in headphones!!! Awesome. Great B roll shots as ever, the califonian sun and light is magic Luke. Can't wait to see more porsche action if it's filmed like this 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻
Perfect everything! I'd love any manual GT car, top ones for me are the R, 997.2 GT3RS and 964 RS (sort of a GT)! Definitely wouldn't pass up on a Touring though, awesome car!
Amazing spec, love the colour, maybe too much with the matching interior, but love it. And I'd order it with the comfort seats if you are going to live with it as your daily. Sounds amazing, what a beast.
Luke in Malibu......lucky we Europeans know our languages. The B role so peace full and than the excitement of this GT3 T. This one sounds great with this throttle body and exhaust.
Finally a car i actually like. This is one of very few modern Porsches i actually like. The GT3 Touring is beautiful, same with the vintage Porsches and the Land Rover. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
Luke - flat shift; try with pressure on the gear lever. Then stomp/kick the clutch hard at the same time you will feel the lever release and just click in to next position. As soon as you feel the lever stop, release the clutch by just moving the foot left or dropping it. You do it after peak power or at peak it feels like a sequential gear shift. You will loose no power, no rpm movement and have full acceleration.
I had a ride in a friends WRX STi with flat foot (no lift ) tech, and it was bonkers fast. Though the gauges displayed a fuel consumption of 59l/100 km, so it was used sparingly. 🤣
I could see these canyon roads at least every second week, between snowy Swiss content. So please look for a second home there☺️ you will not miss cars to film I guess😂 very beautiful car, Tom!
Nice job! I did something similarly back in 2006 with a new Carrera S Hardtop Cabriolet in PTS Blue Turquoise (a very similar color). 3000 plus miles through Germany, Italy, Austria and Switzerland to break it in during 4 weeks. It sometimes is a bit of a challenge for Porsche AG to pull off a PTS (Paint To Sample) car and a European Delivery. It looks like this one worked well! I was able to run on my European Delivery plates for quite awhile because California DMV takes forever to get vanity plates right!! See you around the west coast!
Luke great video bud. 👍 Can i suggest that the interior camera setup can include you working the shift nob. It would really dramatize the "manual" aspect. 👍 Thanks luke.
YES - only if you are from California or your car was issued with two tags. However MOST states in the US issue ONE rear tag for the car. California can not magically create a second tag for you or force you to create one while driving through their state. :) California Vehicle code 5022 (b): Display of License Plates. When only one license plate is issued for use upon a vehicle, it shall be attached to the rear thereof.
I would shoot myself in the face before I would add a front plate to a GT3! I don't care how many tickets I got, it would be better than spoiling that perfect front end. Do California cops stop people frequently for no front plate? I live in Utah and we are supposed to display the front plate we are issued but I haven't done so in almost 20 years. Back in 2002 I bought a Honda S2000 and I hated how the plate looked so I took it off. I've never run a front plate since and have never been ticketed or even stopped for it.
The filter in the image makes the car looks like it is oslo blue and some times like voodoo blue or something close. I would like to see the club blau to be honestly. But the video was amazing!

That is why I bought ISF 5.0 V8 and will never sell it.
Downsizing sucks!!!!!
Great spec on such a classy sports car. The GT3 Touring is such a classy drivers car!
Classy drivers car indeed!
This is a 911 model that immediately became one of my favorites.
Same, perfect one car maybe providing you don't need rear seats

Flat shifting up AND down is amongst the best things I enjoy on my Touring. Mesmerizing, really.

That is LOUD!!! Love it! 👌
The exhaust and header changes gives this Touring a raspy, older 911 sound - which is great!
Thought the same, listening to it go up the canyon was incredible
Exactly, that's what I was hoping for. As you get into the 7,000-9,000 range it sounds like old school F1!
