- Salesforce Connect provides seamless integration of data across system boundaries by letting users view, search, and modify data that's stored outside your Salesforce org.
Instead of copying the data into org, we can use external objects to access the data in real time via web service callouts.

Very Nice & informative session. I have a question related to realtime data. Suppose Salesforce Org A & SAP system is integrated using Odata2.0 adapter. Contacts here in Org A has a a similar object in sap system with name Members. We want phone number of contacts in salesforce Org A to be updated when the members phone in sap system is updated. After using salesforce connect we can get the real time data of member object as external object in Org A. So we have to link members__X with contact using internal lookup? Any suggestions
This is really amazing
