- After Sarah crashed the group date -- which she wasn't on -- in order to steal Matt away and have an emotional heart-to-heart conversation, the other ladies in the house wanted to confront her about it. Sarah spent most of the next day in her room, but when she finally comes down the ladies let her know how they feel about her. From 'Week 3,' season 25, episode 3 of The Bachelor' 2021. Not gonna lie, what Sarah did was not the way to go about it at all. At the same time, she did not deserve the backlash from the women like that. Yes they all had a right to be upset, but could have talked to her in a different way than this....
I don’t think what she did was THAT terrible. People do it on the bachelor ALL THE TIME. In fact out of everyone who has interrupted a group date, she has probably handled it with the most respect. She chose the wrong time to do it yes, but she tried to be respectful and apologize for it at least and not once was disrespectful to anyone no matter how malicious they were.

I really hope Sarah's dad is okay and she isn't mentally traumatised from this. She was already suffering from so much guilt just being there, trying to remember her father's blessings of finding love to push through the fact that he's so terminally ill. And then all of these women didn't even try to find out why she was mentally struggling. Just straight up bullies. Coming from someone who has had a parent die and dealing with this pain, it is very hard to live your normal life knowing the closest person to you could be dead any time soon. Except for Katie, I hope all of these women feel intense shame and guilt for the way they treated her.

And unlike here a lot of girls were pressured into talking about their opinion on Alayah. Even sane girls thought she was a tad phony on camera/with Peter. Could NO ONE have stepped in REGARDLESS of the situation and had her back or at least tell everyone it’s not necessary to be so downright mean. This isn’t high school you’re almost 30
unfortunately a lot of these girls are closer to high school age than 30, the cast is way too young
It’s fear of the mob. I’m sure some of the girls wanted to but were too afraid to get stomped on by the mob. Katie does step up in the later episode, which made me love her so much. And people commented that she did that as a calculated move.

It boggles my mind that Victoria can call Sarah a "calculating little bitch" when she literally poisoned Matt's mind against Marylynn just the previous episode because she saw that he had bought her a plant. If that wasn't the most calculated, manipulative move. And now she's just gotten away with it and thinks she literally is the queen of the house. Disgusting behaviour.
Yeah. It's hard to understand why someone would act that way until you've dealt with people like this or have studied them. I've had abusive relationships in the past and I have learned that people that are manipulative and lack empathy tend to think or be paranoid that other people are being manipulative as well. Since they do it, they assume other people are doing it as well. Since they themselves lack empathy, they tend to not understand that others have empathy and care about strangers.
Abusers also tend to TELL you why you did something or what you are thinking instead of ASKING WHY you did something. They make assumptions and go off of their assumptions rather than reality. They don't trust other people so they don't give people a chance to explain themselves or if they do... they don't believe them and they think they are lying to manipulate to get what they want.
Also, Victoria seems to be suffering from paranoia as well... maybe paranoid schizophrenia and she shows a lot of signs of not being able to tell the difference between reality and assumptions. I've known some people with paranoia and she definitely has some red flags for the mental health disorder. Victoria seems to maybe never developed the ability to put herself in someone else's shoes. This usually comes around the first grade - fourth grade for most children depending on how fast they develop. Victoria seems to never mentally developed those skills at all and maybe potentially has a mental deficiency and maybe she was very neglected as a child or she is just possible has an under-functioning brain in that area. It's been a year or two since I have studied neurology and child development so I have forgotten some of the terms... sorry.
She also seems to have attachment disorders so that is maybe why she doesn't seem to be able to have a healthy connection with people and why she feels the need to control situations in order to feel safe.
Who knows... maybe Sarah is being manipulative... but I don't think there is enough information for Victoria to say that about her. She could have been egged on by producers to interrupt the date. Who knows?
If anything Victoria is the one who is taking roses away and time away from the other girls. She’s clearly not going to marry Matt and is only there for entertainment purposes.
like that episode pissed me the f up..and Marylynn isn't good with confrontation so she didn't even know how to defend herself...i think Victoria is just there for shock value. Matt clearly doesn't like her, but the show will tell him to keep her for drama

Sara is by far the most emotionally intelligent one that was there. Someone should have defended her. I was surprised even Abigail was catty... She seemed nice, but I lost all respect for her after this. I was bullied all through school but this was the worst bullying I have ever seen. Sara was experiencing jealousy and that is perfectly normal. She handled her jealousy with kindness and self awareness. The other girls handled their jealousy with hatred and showed the world what they’re like on the inside. Disgusting.

I feel like here she was projecting on sarah so much, calling her behaviour calculated, manipulative, and toxic, when she has no idea what sarah was thinking or what her intentions were. It was conjecture at its finest, and then she says sarah burned all bridges. I mean wtf take a chill pill. No, Rachael and Sarah are the most beautiful amongst the group and maybe a few others. The rest are ok at best. They definitely did feel threatened, especially with how much time she already had with Matt. Sarah was sweet and the most genuine person there, i was rooting for her to go all the way.

What irks me the most is that on bachelor podcasts and in other social media comments, there are a lot of people agreeing with the bullies and saying things like, "oh my god, that was f*cking AMAZING to watch LOL." Well... in my opinion, that says a lot about you if you think that it was "hilarious" to watch. These are GROWN WOMEN, are they incapable of feeling any empathy? How about pausing for a moment and thinking, "Okay, she's legit crying, she's obviously going through something so maybe everyone should cool it." No one defended her WHILE it was actually happening. Wow... this is heartbreaking to watch. Sarah has said and done everything in her power to let the ladies know how sorry she is. And she didn't even do anything that bad! You would think she murdered a person! Group dates have gotten interrupted so many times in past seasons, and I've never seen such a vicious reaction like this. Sarah did NOT deserve that. I can't imagine being so mean to someone, who is making a heartfelt, painful apology in front of an entire group of women.
It's no wonder all of these girls are on the bachelor to find "love," no sane guy in real life would want to marry something like that.

Sarah felt jealous and hurt from the group date so felt the need to speak to Matt after past traumas, girls get super mad at her for doing that because they’re jealous of her connection with Matt and how she’s had more time with him and has shown more interest in her then anyone else, so they gang up and bully her off the show in the most cruel and hateful manor. Ya, after this episode, I don't look at Matt's season the same way. Most of the girls in the house could have confronted her like the way "vibrator girl" (I don't know her name) did instead they were like since she interrupted the group date, once she comes downstairs, we are gonna have her face the music. Sara was not malicious yet she got a thrashing. The blonde girl who said how is this hard for you, didn't know that Sara has a family member who is dying! Anyways, Matt is too good for a good chunk of these girls. It's a good thing Sara pointed that some them are not nice!

I literally couldn't believe that this happened. When Victoria said, "Why would you think that we would want to make amends with you" I was shocked. I thought that ABC had really upped their casting process, since I was beginning to really like these girls. But I am extremely shocked and dissapointed by the rudeness.

I felt bad for her during this because if that were me I would feel so attacked. The 3 that really seemed to cross the line from giving constructive criticism to being just unnecessarily rude and mean were Victoria, Kit, and Serena C (especially since they made those comments in front of the group ). If those 3 didn’t speak during this conversation, it wouldn’t have come across as bullying IMO. The other women who spoke up were not pleased with Sarah’s actions but seemed way more respectful in their delivery (well maybe not Anna and MJ) Clearly, Sarah was going through a tough time and in the big scheme of things, what she did wasn’t that big of a deal, but the ladies who did share their criticism in a respectful way did have a right to do so - it was the other 3 women who really just made this conversation uncomfortable and dramatic to watch.

the only person that was really toxic was victoria. everyone else had every right to speak how they felt. their time was taken. it was their group date. they weren’t overly mean about it. and it DID come off kind of calculated and manipulative. the way the girl asked if she could have her time back and she kept looking to the guy as if he’s supposed to tell the girl who’s date it IS to piss off??

I honestly feel like Sarah was in her room because she was pondering between whether she should stay or go home and be with her dad. And it’s good that she was able to acknowledge the fact that she may have affected the other girls and attempted to own up to it maturely.

Let’s be logical. The only people that were rude to Sarah were Kit and Victoria. The other women spoke their mind and frustrations to Sarah directly. They didn’t know that Sarah’s Dad was sick. So to them it look calculated. They can’t see what we see. And to me Bri has been more consistently by Sarah’s side than Katie. She didn’t need a grand scene in order to show that. I felt bad for Sarah but sis didn’t have to be on the show. 🤷🏽♀️
Exactly! Everyone is saying the women (as a collective) were so awful to Sarah. With the exception of Kit and Victoria they weren’t. Sarah did not explain the situation fully, so from their POV it just seemed as though she was being selfish and manipulative.
Sarah literally took accountability, apologized, and expressed that her intentions were not malicious. Yet, they proceeded to put her down and attack her. Smh. They just wanted someone to bully.

I am absolutely DISGUSTED with @BachelorNation Producers for not stepping in during this situation. This was outright bullying, threatening and despicable behaviour, from a group of girls, on one individual. Sarah was clearly apologetic, rattled and incredibly vulnerable and nobody stood up for her, or put an end to some shocking behaviour. We got to see the true colours of many of these "women" and I found that disturbing to say the least. To threaten a woman and tell her that you are going to make her time there "horrible", is not acceptable. And for the rest of the girls who sat there with a mouth full of teeth and did nothing, you're just as guilty and should feel ashamed. Truly unimpressed with the Producers for not calling out this attack and expressing that bullying will not be tolerated, just speaks volumes. (Anna, Serena C, MJ, Kaili, Victoria *the worst of the lot* and Kit *not far behind her Queen* - typical "mean girls" from high school. I hope Matt sees through them all). Disappointing that this is still being allowed in 2021, with mental health being at the forefront of everyone's minds.

Watching this and having the time to let it sink in, what the girls did to Sarah was not okay. I get that she needed to talk to Matt about what's on her mind, but she picked/had bad timing. So I would understand the girl's frustration with her actions but if she had something on to get off her chest, then okay. And if they were really worried about Sarah being in her room, they should of checked on her and have a respectful conversation with her because the process is out of her comfort zone and we (girls) don't know her story. And honestly when Victoria said that Sarah was calculated, manipulate, and toxic. 🤨 Sarah rubber, Victoria is glue. Whatever Victoria calls Sarah will stick back on her.
I take comfort in knowing that Matt will hear all of these mean comments when the show airs.

I feel like if she communicated to the girls the situation with her terminally ill dad (since that’s what’s TRULY been the most difficult for her) they would’ve been understanding and more compassionate. She made it sound like she just interrupted because she needed reassurance on their group date. Doesn’t justify their ugly bullying, but they actually had NO idea.
But the way she communicated with Matt I feel like the whole group date interruption was more about her being insecure than anything else...
But like she doesn’t have to because the stuff about her dad is very personal. Those ladies reaction was horrible and mean. idk if they would have been understanding or compassionate if they knew considering how they were acting especially Victoria.
Your last sentence says it all though. What Sarah did is something that happens in every season-hell, every episode of the Bachelor, but rarely do you see all of the women attack one woman so viciously. It was an unjustifiably cruel response and made me think so low of everyone involved.
I think she probably was going to and they attacked her. And if she was not going to share that, this experience certainly wouldn’t make her want to. That’s a very vulnerable place to be and these women showed that no matter what she was going through they did not care.
