I agree on the map-wide sounds being truly terrifying, whether it being a chainsaw being revved, an angry guy screaming or the sound of the nurse/blight
This is why I would place Bubba higher on the list. Facecamping is not scary. Playing the game aggressively and revving the saw while chasing someone is. Aggressive bubbas are horrifying to go against lol
It fills me with joy to know Michael is still seen as terrifying despite every tier list ever putting him low. You never truly know what he could have and even when you figure it out, it could be too late and you just want to hide from him. Oni's furious roar echoing in the distance is a close second for me! 😱
I meeeean I put him in S Tier a while back. In my own personal tier list I was doing for fun lol. Tbf I’m completely biased as Myers is my fav horror icon. But I also take into consideration perks and whatnot which also screws that up a bit. It is less consistent by just taking the base killers themselves
This is kind of why I don't want them to make any changes to Myers. I just KNOW they will change something that will remove his natural fear and intimidation factor.
@@gamey83 i mean it wouldnt be hard. My idea to balance him is to give tier 1 slightly more speed but some sort of tracking (like a MUCH worse scratch mirrors that requires specific actions, effectively still being a much worse killer). And stalking survivors doesnt give you tier 2 immediately, instead it builds up an overflow meter. Tier 2 can be activated at any time and gives more speed and vault speed, but can be turned off at any time. but if you completely fill up the meter, you can activate tier 3, which not only gives you the exposed effect, but gives you tracking, faster breaking speed, and a unique pallet stun where he grabs and breaks the falling pallet instead and continues chase. And the wheezing he does when he gets a hit is just mehh. But I will admit his chase music is creepy af. That would jump the scare factor by a lot.
The 2 biggest reasons why I main Dredge is because he’s incredibly funny to play and actually requires work and makes the game way more scarier for the survivors which is just good and fun
Now at first I agree that Trickster isn’t scary… but he actually gets improved by his lore and music. Unlike Artist and Skull Merchant who are 2013-era creepypasta edgy for the sake of edginess; Trickster is written to have the edge of believable sadism, narcissism, and cruelty that is barely matched by other willing Killers. He is a very real threat of the predators we never expect in the real world- those we idolize. Then the fact that his chase music is legitimately just the modified screams of his victims is… horrifying. He doesn’t just kill people- he tortures them to extract their “song,” and then uses that for his own pleasure. The lore and sound go hand in hand in making a formerly stupid looking and laughable Killer into someone that _is_ a threat… and worse yet, a threat that we see in the real world. Trickster isn’t just a murderer- he won’t just kill you when he catches you. He takes delight in hooking Survivors, in torturing you until you give him what he wants before he tosses you into the trash. He is all too real.
i'll never forget booting up dbd for the first time in months not knowing the spirit had been added, loading into my first game without looking at the screen much, and having a fucking heart attack when a train sound started playing and a blue monster hit me out of nowhere
As for clown, when I play against him now I just sigh but he freaked me out when I first started playing. His terror radius and chase theme just made me so anxious like no other killer had.
Michael Myers number 1, everyone else number 2. The only one I’m that game who can still get me almost every time. Turning the camera around on a gen to see a mikey standing there staring will always get a jump
What’s truly scary about the Dredge is that it’s not just a creature, it’s thought made manifest, created by anything in the universe that can generate dark thoughts. The Entity itself could’ve created this thing itself with its own dark thoughts and desires, but this thing is something else entirely. How the hell the Entity managed to get a hold on it, we may never know.

@LEGO batman: THE VIDEOGAME💙 If I saw him I wouldn't be scared at first I would be like wtf is that? He for sure is up there with the scariest looking killers. Actually now that I think about it that lil ugly mf can make the realm very dark and can be behind you and you don't even know it
I don’t know anything about this game, but Artist is interesting because she has the same wounds as Lavinia from Titus Andronicus, no hands and no tongue.
I would put trickster higher bc of his lore/ personality like this dude a straight up a psycho and would torture people to enjoy their screams but if its based off appearances then yes he is in the bottom
Much higher. The fact that he's an idol that fans look up to and thus passes of as a harmless guy is indeed frightening. Its like crushing on a guy and then finding out its Ted Bundy. And you get killed for it. Myers is incredibly overrated. The fact that he's oversaturated and iconic and everywhere imo would make him less scary, because of the overexposure. Death is scary, but Michael would evoke to me less of a reaction than the guy who would chain you up and kill you as slow as possible to record your screams
@@jeffreymonsell659 I mean the only reason he's high up is because he's Michael Myers. I mean what can he do to you? Stab you? The scariest thing he has is his persistance to get you. I'm just looking at killers more objectively than their base appearance and/or franchise. I'd rather get killed by Myers, at least he does it fast. Trickster will make sure you die as slowly as possible just so he can record your screams and later capitalize on it.
Had an idea for a video when I saw someone in a chat suggest 2 killers 5 survivors. While I don't see that happening anytime soon, I thought what would good killer combos be even in a hypothetical scenario. My first thought was Legion and Oni, Legion speeds around injuring people, and Oni rakes in all the blood to get Demon Dash. Additionally seeing those two just running around the map fast would be pretty funny to see.
Every factor that makes Micheal as scary as he is -Tier 1 grabs, corner hits, stumbling upon him -Finding him tiering up on you -Tombstone chase -Terror Radius -It’s Micheal Myers
artist should be higher because what would your honest reaction be to an eight foot tall lady with a bird neck ink arms and black eyes running at you doubt you would just be standing there
100% agree with dredge as im a dredge main and that is because i completely shit myself when against him knowing that it turns a normally safe spot to something you need to avoid is creepy and the voices during nightfall always gives me shivers when i hear it
I know back then when me and my best friend played against a Dredge for the first time. We were in killer shack doing a gen (we did not know what Dredge abilities are) and nightfall activated. We thought it was her main and only ability back then ... until to the point she jumped out of a locker very next to us and we bove got the greatest jumpscare from our lifetime. It was so fun afterwards, but dude in that moment we bove shit into our pants ngl.
In ny opinion Deathslinger should by higher up l, because imagine your in a corn field and you hear a gunshot ring out and your friend is being dragged away with a spear in their chest.
I'd say the reason twins was kind of high is because of the fear of hearing victor chasing and pouncing on you sometimes randomly can get a scream out of people
We gotta include that gameplay in the background too as scary. That flashlight abuse was absolutely demonic, and I can just feel that wraith player in absolute hell.
Knight is way scarier then that its such a shame to see him so low its possible due to how inconsistent his guards feel but if he had a movie it would show how truly scary he is
Hag is very disturbing when you think about the fact that she’s younger then spirit but with everything that happened to her in the cannibal village it left her body so mangled and broken
Dredge and scary? You mean sexy. It is so hot! My sleep paralysis demon is nothing against it! I love it. If Dredge wants to get me, it can! I will walk into the darkness willingly!
Hot take here: nemesis isnt scary in the jumpscare way but more in the chase way, hearing the loud footsteps, seeing the tentacle nearly hit you, and seeing him running at you like that along with the music really makes it feel like you are in an intense amount of danger
I think you need to think about it more when you first start playing against some killers. I remember being so terrified of clown. He would've been way higher for me
Singularity is for sure the scariest in my opinion. The completely alien and unknowable design, the massive and painful looking weapon, knowing that he could be watching you and teleport to you no matter where you are with the bio pods, the mocking and monotone tts voice, and above all, that BRUTALLY VIOLENT Mori. He’s at the top for me.
Sadako, michael, ghost faceand dredge are the only scary killers imo. It's just the stealth that does it for me. Visually scary is none of the killers imo
I have nearly the same scares as you but Ghostface is funny to me. Don't forget to add Pig slowly crouching around corner when you are doing a gen lmao. but Myers breathing while you doing a gen & you ask yourself who is breathing as you turn the screen to see his white mask staring at you... Sadako is my #1 scare though just her Appearance & SFX alone is scary but add on the way she phases in and out & crawls out a tv scare the f**k outta me. Oh also I just came back to DBD to vs my first Dredge on Midwich and had no idea about the killer at all I was just holding down that W key in the halls during nightfall LMAO( I thought the darkness sounds were his terror radius sounds)
Nemesis creeps me out more because I kinda factor in every RE creature made by Umbrella. The same company made Mr. X, Lisa Trevor, and Jesus the Chimeras... Just search up the Chimera from the first Resident Evil game, preferably the 2002 version.
When I first encountered twins I was incredibly scared so I understand why it was so high. But now I'm not scared of them. Mainly because I was new back then.
i think the speargun adds a lot of scare to the deathslinger, granted he isn’t the most intimidating character but the fact that he can snipe you shows how terrifying his intelligence is
I wish DBD could still be a hororr game. I like what DBD became, the competetive nature is fun, but I wish it was more like how it was when the game started, when balance and meta weren't really as important as atmosphere and fun
let’s be real though. All of these killers would be utterly haunting to meet in real life. Even the funny ones like trickster and ghost face are terrifying in lore. However, I think we can all agree that the doctor would be the scariest killer to come face to face with hands down. Especially if you know their lore. A close second would be dredge and pinhead considering whatever they do to you would probably be worse than death.
People are always biased when it comes to skull merchant lol. I hate her too, but damn she can jumpscare the sht out of you when she comes out of the drone zones with undetectable effect and the sound of her moving towards you ( while undetectable) is creepy af
Oni has always been the scariest... But I rejoined the DBD community after a multi-year hiatus as he was being introduced and boy did the echoing screams across the map send a chill down my spine. Blight is close because him running at you was freaky the 1st few times you saw it and the squelchy bumps were unnerving as he just kept ramming into a wall with his face... Oh, and spirit. I cannot stand (in a good way) to look at her fingers in the killer POV... And the jumping out of thin air is a bit nerve wracking... Less so now with the cues but still. Other than those three I haven't really ever got scared except for jump scares... But I classify that as "startled" not "scared." And of those three I am pretty sure only Spirit still creeps me out... Can't stand those fingers, they did good.
100% disagree with what people said Shape is #2 he is definitely #1 you never know if a Michael how unlimited/Tombstone or both also it’s hard to tell if the Michael is trying to kill everyone for the evil incarnated achievement most of them run it and just grab survivors out of lockers + Michaels speed boost perks and other speed boost perks make Michael more of a threat I do agree dredge is scary but he’s definitely not scarier then a shape
Tombstone myers isnt the scariest... Monitor and abuse myers is... Explanation: You may think scratch mirror is the one for jumpscares, but if you wanna give a more "canon" jumpscare, you must be able to access your 3 tiers, so get monitor and abuse to reduce your tier 2 16m terror radious into 8M TERROR RADIOUS, which is horrifying to deal with, add dead rabbit incase you hate survivors 💀, they will think "oh, he has vanity mirror then" and you pop out tier 3 and down them, which is even more scarier and desesperating if you add tombstone piece
I think Trickster is pretty scary cause he has the outfit of a happy person and is a kpop star but this whole look gets destroyed quickly afterwards with the blood and the laughter and of course the bat and knives. I think things that are normally not scary but then to horrible and really scary things are much more scary than someone who would look evil even without the blood and the weapons

In terms of scary the only killer that sometimes gets me is hag, especially if I trigger a trap even before I saw who the killer is.
omg my first game ever against hag was the scariest and most confusing experience ive ever had
A Shirtless Wesker wouldn't be terrifying, it would be mesmerizing!
mesmerizing? though i do believe people would memorize it lol
@@pitbullseatkids2682 good catch
@@pitbullseatkids2682 auto correct crazy
Shirtless Wesker skin has Starstruck baseline.
Uroboros himself?
I find clown, trickster, legion trapper and huntress to be scarier killers because of how realistically possible they are.
Out of those 5 huntress would definitely be the scariest
@@alexanderglex4600 with her stature combined with her hatchet throwing skills, for sure.
@@DarkNinja193Not everyday you see a 6,2 woman with collarbones as wide as a man
But honestly ghostface is terrifying about how not serious he Is like it's a game to him seeing him chuckling in the lobby
I always get scared playing against Leatherface but not for the reason DBD wants me to be scared for.
i'll never forget booting up dbd for the first time in months not knowing the spirit had been added, loading into my first game without looking at the screen much, and having a fucking heart attack when a train sound started playing and a blue monster hit me out of nowhere
My boi back with another W
More like H for Hey everyone
As for clown, when I play against him now I just sigh but he freaked me out when I first started playing. His terror radius and chase theme just made me so anxious like no other killer had.
Death Slinger reminds me of a Scooby Doo villain.
Michael Myers number 1, everyone else number 2. The only one I’m that game who can still get me almost every time. Turning the camera around on a gen to see a mikey standing there staring will always get a jump
The unkown: yo wsg
Doctor has been ruined for me as a scary killer solely because his name is Herman
But did you escape the trial in the background Gameplay?! I was invested!
I always get scared when i face a Fredie or Skull merchant. Scared ill die from boredom.
I actually had a nightmare with the Oni, so I am terrified by him now
did he mori you perchance? That would be terrifying
Bro I feel bad for you lol
@@alexanderglex4600 Nah, thankfully not. But I just saw him outside my childhood home charging directly at me. I fled up the stairs and he just absolutely obliterated it, just before reaching me where I woke up
@@rainond.cooper2971 wow that was actually terrifying Jesus Christ
Im not scared of oni at all i get being scared of characters like dredge and myers but i just think that oni looks extremly cool same goes for knight armoured guys look cool lol
You should do scary meter video as if you were in the realm. Like what killers would you personally would be scared of from the least to the most
Doctor and Sadako probably at the top
@@alexanderglex4600 for me It gotta be doctor and Oni at the top
@@toshirothegamer1265 dredge 💀
@LEGO batman: THE VIDEOGAME💙 If I saw him I wouldn't be scared at first I would be like wtf is that? He for sure is up there with the scariest looking killers. Actually now that I think about it that lil ugly mf can make the realm very dark and can be behind you and you don't even know it
@@toshirothegamer1265 👍
@@FinestFantasyVI Ah, "overrated," the most vacuous critique of all time.
@@FinestFantasyVItotally agree!
@@FinestFantasyVI 100% agree like with ghost face or Michael they are wearing creepy masks n shit but trickster is ur jimin of kpop
Dredge mains finally getting recognition... somewhat
Every factor that makes Micheal as scary as he is
-Tier 1 grabs,corner hits,stumbling upon him
-Finding him tiering up on you
-Tombstone chase
-Terror Radius
-It’s Micheal Myers
As I always say, I'm glad Sadako got so high! She deserves quite a lot of respect, both for her lore and her unexplainable strength out of game.
artist should be higher because what would your honest reaction be to an eight foot tall lady with a bird neck ink arms and black eyes running at you doubt you would just be standing there
100% agree with dredge as im a dredge main and that is because i completely shit myself when against him knowing that it turns a normally safe spot to something you need to avoid is creepy and the voices during nightfall always gives me shivers when i hear it
I know back then when me and my best friend played against a Dredge for the first time.
In ny opinion Deathslinger should by higher up l, because imagine your in a corn field and you hear a gunshot ring out and your friend is being dragged away with a spear in their chest.
whenever theres an AFK nemesis he generates so much unease, his huge stature and heavy breathing sets me into a slight fight or flight
I am glad to see that my favorite killer took the number one spot.
This is exactly what I needed!! Thank you
Knight is way scarier then that its such a shame to see him so low its possible due to how inconsistent his guards feel but if he had a movie it would show how truly scary he is
If you ever played re5, you know that wesker is indeed very scary
Wesker with his addon where he has no terror radius is pretty scary when you got grab out of nowhere
I love these their lists and the fact that it’s a monsters university episode.
Doctor's lore tome cutscenes are genuinely twisted. If you have the stomach. Defo check them out. Quite gnarly.
Skull Merchant, Pig, Clown, and Legion, are in what I like to call the shovel crew. Because all of them could be beaten and barry if you had a shovel.
Hot take here: nemesis isnt scary in the jumpscare way but more in the chase way, hearing the loud footsteps, seeing the tentacle nearly hit you, and seeing him running at you like that along with the music really makes it feel like you are in an intense amount of danger
Thanks for video kept me from being bored while I worked
How did you forget Nea? She's easily 3rd or 2nd?
Only people who should fear Freddy in the realm is victor
I think you need to think about it more when you first start playing against some killers. I remember being so terrified of clown. He would've been way higher for me
Singularity is for sure the scariest in my opinion. The completely alien and unknowable design, the massive and painful looking weapon, knowing that he could be watching you and teleport to you no matter where you are with the bio pods, the mocking and monotone tts voice, and above all, that BRUTALLY VIOLENT Mori. He’s at the top for me.
The fact he can melt the face off your favorite survivor is so scary to me
This tier list had to be made by locker dwights.
Ashy mobs have a good vacation we love and support your channel
Nemesis creeps me out more because I kinda factor in every RE creature made by Umbrella. The same company made Mr. X, Lisa Trevor, and Jesus the Chimeras... Just search up the Chimera from the first Resident Evil game, preferably the 2002 version.
Oooh I participated in this (the discord thing), it was quite fun.
glad you liked it
@@AZHYMOVS Thanks! I did :)
After growing up with silent hill...... pyramid head is awesome yet terrifying to me...
When I first encountered twins I was incredibly scared so I understand why it was so high. But now I'm not scared of them. Mainly because I was new back then.
i think the speargun adds a lot of scare to the deathslinger, granted he isn’t the most intimidating character but the fact that he can snipe you shows how terrifying his intelligence is
Bro put singularity over sadako
Honestly I have no idea how Singularity got as high as it did.
Dude I think it would be really cool if you did an updated 1v1 series since there are more killers now
I wish DBD could still be a hororr game.
I think with pyramid head and a stealth build on midwitch is the scariest thing imaginable
People are always biased when it comes to skull merchant lol. I hate her too, but damn she can jumpscare the sht out of you when she comes out of the drone zones with undetectable effect and the sound of her moving towards you ( while undetectable) is creepy af
I agree Trickster isn’t scary when facing him, whenever I’m against him I always go “omg it’s my boy!”
I think Knight suffered a bit from how funny the hair spilling out of his visor looks. THE EMO ENERGY CANNOT BE CONTAINED!
Michael Myers always scares, just the thought of him being around me and not knowing is scary 😶🌫️😶🌫️😶🌫️😶🌫️
Pallets, flashlights, flashbangs, firecrackers: let me introduce myself
clown is the scariest for me, but then I have an intense fear of clowns.
