Great video! I especially love the tip about cookbooks. I never thought about using those for language learning. Thanks so much and I am looking forward to your next video!
Thank you so much for watching! I am really glad you liked the video and could relate to certain aspects. I’m also super happy that I now know about your channel. 🤩 I’m always on the hunt for new Spanish channels, especially ones about language learning since they are really helpful and inspiring. I am also really interested in seeing how your journey with French goes!! I’ve been wanting to take that language up again, so I’m curious to see what your routine is like.
Thank you so much for your nice comment! I’m glad this video could help. I totally get wanting to be fluent. I feel like I’ve plateaued, so I need to study more to achieve fluency as well ☺️
@@wanderandwords I hope you feel proud of your accomplishments. You’re exactly where Id love to be. Do you have a list of your recommendations? There were so many I lost track!!
A fact for native Spanish speakers, English is very difficult for us. Since to learn Spanish with the Minjares method you learn quickly and it is the one used in public schools, there is a video on TH-cam about this method.
What I find difficult is who to believe when it comes to learning Mexican Spanish. I took 4 years of Spanish in school growing up in SoCal. Worked with many Mexicans and they always laughed at me. Years later I started working in landscaping with the same outcome. Now I own a small landscape business and started working in a warehouse overnight with mostly Mexicans. I want to be able to hold a conversation with them and not be a typical American and speak Spanglish. I think that is offensive. I find in many comment threads on learning Mexican/Spanish they get infiltrated by people who are paid by Spanish apps to suggest their app for learning REAL Mexican/Spanish but find they only teach Spain Spanish. It’s frustrating because I have paid for apps only to find it’s not the correct Spanish I want to learn. I know most verbs and proper conjugations and maybe it’s more of a confidence issue. So my long comment is to say what is the real way to learn Mexican Spanish and AYUDAME!!
@@wanderandwords Yes it is important to learn both languages but learn foreign language in foreign language it is 2x difficulce, there can upon unknown English word and u should translate both English and Spanish. Thank for ur job
but more struggles with English tenses while in Russian we have only past present and future. Russian it is second language in Republic of Belarus but for a pity useless world wide because Russia is a bad country and Baltic states refused Russian
