Hum tv is really bad at promoting their dramas they should start airing two episodes of their big dramas like jafaa and zard paton ka bun otherwise audience will gradually loose intrest they should learn something from geo tv they are literally airing jaan e nisar three days a week even though the story of jaan nisar is average and nothing extraordinary they are getting 15 million average on an episode

Andaleeb is immature, but that doesn't mean parents will force her to marry, no matter how nice and a good person Numayer is, Andaleeb wasn't ready to get married. Numair at least didn't deserve it. Pak dramas should give good messages. Har banda Numair k tarha accha nhi hota.

This is soo wrong. I dont know why pakistani dramas like jafaa are glorifying emotional abuse and always showing arranged marriage as forced marriage and in a negative light
This is really sad. And even if in this drama Numair and Andaleeb eventually fall in love, it doesn’t happen the same way in 90% of the forced marriages. I’m sure they’ll portray Moiz in a bad light now to justify the forced marriage that was the result of emotional blackmail from both sides. It’s really stupid and backward. Why can’t they just depict the reality as it is without hampering the image of the former lover?? It’s sets of a really unhealthy idea that whatever decisions parents and elders take are ultimately the best for the kids, which is not at all the case most of the times. Consent of both the parties is the utmost important thing in marriage, even the Quran says this. The emotional blackmailing, the unnecessary concern, and blatant disregard for a woman’s choice who is well enough considered an adult, is really very disturbing.

Agreed totally. I really liked how in the beginning Andaleeb's parents just adored her, especially her father. And I was thinking he will be shown to handle this situation smartly, but uff. What he has done is so disturbing. The blackmailing, constant pressure, complete disregard to his daughter's happiness, or what she wants, and the fact she does not want to get married to Numair, he just acted with complete non sense. Really bad parents, both the mother and father. In the disguise of "ham tumhaare liye accha chahte hain", they have done exactly what a typical parents do, which is "beti jaaye bhaad mein, haamri izzat hamein pyaari."

YES, but they are showing the reality, it's more disturbing because this happens in real life. Either people are really modern to take marriages, and love as a joke and play with lives or conservative enough to force people really in love to get separated and happen to make forced marriages!
I am so disappointed with zaras character. She literally has cheated her friend and done her sister dirty. Coming on the wedding night and asking what can i do for you!! She took her love interest so lightly despite of her continously saying it isnt just a fling. The entire fam is responsible for ruining 3 lifes.

First of all she's her cousin not her real sister so she doesn't have authority over Andaleeps parents as an own sister would. She did what she could by talking to Andaleeps father and if she intervened more it would be crossing the line (POV of Andaleeps parents that her married cousin is interfering too much). She herself is married, already has a tedious job so idk what else she could do about it.

This is what happens in forced marriages. Im not defending Anadaleeb’s decision but she kept telling her parents that she didn’t want to marry anyone else. It’s entirely the family’s fault.
These dramas have fantasized and romanticized forced marriages so much that people think that that’s how it’s going to be. Reality is so much more horrible and painful. I’m not saying parents should get them married to anyone the kids like but at least listen to them, talk to the guy and get some info on the family. But nope, getting them married to someone of their choice is the only solution. What rubbish!!!

These dramas need to STOP NORMALISING forced marriages. Parents aren’t always right simply because they’re parents. Why the hell did they not even consider Moiz? And say he wasn’t good enough for her they could have rejected him without forcing her to marry someone else. I just don’t get how this is considered okay. And Zara’s character is just extremely irresponsible.
U better watch first the full drama and then judge, just by seeing few episodes u can't judge. And plz stop blaming ur parents at the end u will suffer the consequences and all parents r not same, they just want there child to be happy

I’m sure for drama they might show Moiz didn’t take pills. And why would he, he’s the only child of single mother too, that would be devastating for her.
But to show him in a bad light they will do that. But in reality these forced marriages have really bad consequences. Stop normalizing forced marriages & showing them in a good light. They should’ve given their daughter sometime and had let things unfold on their own, even falling out of love & there could be many potential compatible proposals in future.

Secondly, human came to this world for other reasons too not just for relationships. They could get her busy in other activities like alot of parents not all parents forcefully marry their kids. If they had taken her into confidence i’m sure she would’ve listened & cared. This age is just a phase mostly ppl get over it with time as they mature.

I think Andaleeb's father has been showcased as an obsessive parent who thinks in his head that he 'loves' his child, but in reality, he believes he owns' her. Constantly waking up in the night to check on his daughter and then going berserk after he realises she loves someone. No honest communication, no confidence in the child's choice, and no interest in the child's happiness!!! How can this be love? Any of us who is a parent or aunt or uncle will know that we can never force our kids to do something that they are just not ready for! Not if it brings them tears and heartbreak. The truth of the matter is that even as a parent, you don't own your child. He/she is an individual with their own mind, likes, dislikes, opinions and the right to live their life their way. Parents' best role is to lovingly guide the kids to help them make the right choice for themselves. And then have faith in them and in your love for them. You cannot control another human being. Not even your child.
