Strong leadership is necessary. I want to thank them for their time and efforts and Allah may reward them. However, there is no REPRESENTATION from other communities living in the area. That is a big problem in the Islamic Community Boards everywhere. It is always dominated by one ethnic group and no representation from other groups. imagine if they could bring to the board a member from the African community, Arab community, Women and new converters. The board would be diversified and for all!

EPIC has some of the best programming, particularly online programs through the sheikhs of the team. I am curious to know why they have no women in the board?? Its 2022 folks.. do only men come to your masjid?
We are encouraging the women. InshaAllah next time. We have a very active sisters committee and many women's programs at the masjid and on youtube. The sisters committee is the most active committee and has the most volunteers.

It is important to have women represented in the board, and believe me the organization and community will benefit from this, insha-allah, speaking from experience.
