kobe 5's are some of my favorite hoop shoes of all time. I had two pairs i wore to death back in 2008, the black and yellows and the USA's which were my favorite hoop shoes of all time. Caught my first dunk in those lol so they were definitely memorable. I liked them way more than the 6 in terms of cushion, bounce, and traction.

I even had to pay resell on all of them cuz none was even released in my country, so shipping and taxes on all... But hey, it is what it is. I see it as the way to express how much he meant to me as a player, father and person.

Just bought a 5 rings colorway yesterday in one of basketball stores in slovenia. It was probably a return but I was very happy because i didnt hit on release date on any of the kobes
I love the Kobe low cut design but as an Asian guy with wide feet they couldn't fit right. I went one size higher and then 1.5 size higher and they just didn't fit right. I am sad. But this shoe is very nice looking. And the low cut sole that is close to the ground is my favorite type of performance design.
Jah, The resell price here in Japan is more reasonable. It costs ¥19,800 retail but I paid ¥24,000. A Kobe fan myself and I had to pick it up, even though I already have the OG. But you know, if you want something, get it. Is it worth 400 bucks? Worth every penny.
IMO if you truly like something then try to obtain it in any way, money will not matter to you. If it does, then that thing you want, doesn’t matter. It literally means that the thing you want is worth more than money to you
