The Golden Era for the "Thunder Boats." Piston slappers duking it out the Jet Turbines! Great coverage of the National High Point Series back in the day. Hard to believe that was 36 years ago. Phew!
Turbines, Merlins, Allisons, closed cockpits and one conventional gotta love it! It would have been nice to have maintained a piston class in unlimited but such is life.
