Thank you so much Alexia for your lessons online. I have been studying Greek for the last three years by myself. But now with your grammar lessons all is much clearer. Please keep teaching online, you are a brilliant teacher. Merci mille fois , ευχαριστώ πολύ , τα λέμε αύριο Francine
I think you are one of the best teachers ever!!!!! I love your systematic approach. I watched several of your videos and I now understand so much of WHY certain things are done a certain way!!! I can apply this to many scenarios! I’m blown away by you!!!!!!! Thank you very much!!!!!
I learned «ο Αόριστος» (before the future tense). I had a hard time with it (particularly the constant changes). Your past tense video said we should watch this first - I’m glad I did. FINALLY, it’s making sense! Τα μαθήματα σου είναι τέλεια. Ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ. Ειμαι έγγεγραμμενος στο κανάλι σου τώρα! (I think i said that right)
This has solved the mystery for me! Yelw! I did not know that teachers called them "lip" and "throat" constants. This is so helpful. I watched twice and worked on my verbs. Thank you sooooo very much.
I have been learning Greek for 4 years. I made huge index cards for verbs and crammed over & over with 'brute strength.' I figured out -izw -> isw myself. YOUR TIP WITH LIP AND THROAT CONSONANTS IS UNBELIEVABLY HELPFUL! THANK YOU!
Hi from Romania, thank you so much ! I study Greek on Duolingo and they started with the Paste Tense, before The Future! It is horror! Impossible to catch smth. Now In study the Future with you! I am vary have I found your channel! Thank you! 🎉
These are great lessons I’m working my way through then in order You make the future tense look quite straight forward It’s just a matter of learning the endings and having patience It’s the pronunciation that has me worried
Excellent lesson, thank you. Question: I understand the final ν never drops in the masculine article in the accusative, and in the feminine it is kept before a vowel. Since από requires the accusative, why not μετά από έναν μήνα & μετά από μίαν εβδομάδα?
I wish duolingo would explain this much sooner... I've put my course on pause, because it will take absolute ages to get to the units on past or future. This is pretty useful, and not as difficult as I was expecting.
Omg thaaanks so much😭 I'm trying to learn greek for fun during my vacations but I was getting kinda stressed by not understanding the simple future and past tenses
Thank you again for the very good lesson. I have one more question. I discovered the verb "αποθηκεύω" and expected the future tense to be "θα αποθηκέψω" because this is an example of the lip consonant. But according to a verb tables that I have the future is written "θα αποθηκεύσω". Is this verb an exception to the rule?
You are very welcome! Yes it is an exception to the rule. Many of the rules that I mention have exceptions but it is not something that I could teach before the B Level!
Alexia, I am not sure I understand one thing. I'm trying to learn Greek with Duolingo and at the same time I listen to your lessons. And I don't understand why Duolingo gives such examples as: "Από δω και πέρα θα μαγειρεύω στο σπίτι", "Θα τρέχω κάθε πρωί από δω και πέρα ", "Θα μιλάω όσο θέλω"... Instead of μαγειρέψω, τρέξω, μιλήσω. Can we use two forms/options for the future?
Good morning Richard! I use a microphone and a special programme to edit the sound. Unfortunately in that video I forgot to use the microphone and I recorded my voice through the laptop. Kind regards
Καλησπέρα δασκάλα μου ! 😍 Your videos are perfect, all what we need after them is practicing over and over. I wonder if we can know more verbs which are not common for use alot in dail life, for example : i swear, i cheat on, i kill, i make fun of, i imagine, i wish, i survive, i get arrested, i dream, i was born, i smoke, and more..., haha most of them have a bad meaning, that's why they are rarely to be used, thanks!
Thank you so much for your kind comment! Hahaha the verbs that you chose are funny but of course useful. They considered to belong at the B2 Level and I will include them when I prepare this and of videos!! Kind regards!!
It looks as if you made a mistake with the negation at 7:20, i.e. shouldn´t the negation be a "dev", rather than only "de". P.S. I use the the English letter "D" as a substitute for delta
You read Greek sentences very fast and English meanings are not given under the sentences. This causes trouble. If Greek pronounciation is also given, it will help a lot.

You are the best teacher I have seen online. Do you offer private lesson?
Thank you! I offer online lessons. You can check my page www.greek-lessons-online.com/en/
These are great lessons
I’m working my way through then in order
You make the future tense look quite straight forward
It’s just a matter of learning the endings and having patience
It’s the pronunciation that has me worried
Ευχαριστώ πολύ!
I started to like future tense in Greek language
It's got very confusing now !! Is this normal for a student of greek?
Γεια σου!! At the beginning is difficult but with practice it gets easier!
Excellent lesson, thank you. Question: I understand the final ν never drops in the masculine article in the accusative, and in the feminine it is kept before a vowel. Since από requires the accusative, why not μετά από έναν μήνα & μετά από μίαν εβδομάδα?
For the indefinite article ένας ,μια, ενα
The use of -ν applies only to the masculine!
Hi' I agree with all the compliments below. My question is how do you suggest us to practice all that?
Exercises, speaking!!!
Ευχαριστούμε γία όλλοι τι κανείς ❤❤❤
Thank you again for the very good lesson.
I have one more question. I discovered the verb "αποθηκεύω" and expected the future tense to be "θα αποθηκέψω" because this is an example of the lip consonant.

Hi there, and what woud be the ending when the verb is εννοώ. I woud suppose it's going to be θα εννοώσα; Thanks in advance!!
Εννοώ is a B2 verb.
The ending should be - ήσω.
Θα εννοήσω
Alexia, I am not sure I understand one thing. I'm trying to learn Greek with Duolingo and at the same time I listen to your lessons. And I don't understand why Duolingo gives such examples as: "Από δω και πέρα θα μαγειρεύω στο σπίτι", "Θα τρέχω κάθε πρωί από δω και πέρα ", "Θα μιλάω όσο θέλω"... Instead of μαγειρέψω, τρέξω, μιλήσω. Can we use two forms/options for the future?
The form that you mentioned is Continuous Future.
Please watch this lesson on my channel.
κοιτάζω conjugates to Θα κοιτάξω. Is it an exception or "what gives"?
Thanks
Yes it is an exception as αλλάζω - θα αλλάξω.
😚😚😚🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤
I love your lessons and find them extremely usefull but please, please get some advice on improving the sound quality...
Εθχαριστώ πολή.
Good morning Richard! I use a microphone and a special programme to edit the sound. Unfortunately in that video I forgot to use the microphone and I recorded my voice through the laptop. Kind regards

We put the final -ν when the next word starts with a vowel OR κ π τ ξ ψ μπ ντ γκ τσ τζ
@@greeklessonsonlinevideos Oh, ok, thanks a lot for the reply ! Keep on doing your great lessons !
